Raiders in midst of final practice before bye week

The Raiders are going through their paces Wednesday in the final practice before the bye week kicks in.
Once the practice, workouts and meetings today end, the players will be excused for four days. They won’t be required to be back at the team’s year-round facility in Alameda until Monday.
Like Tuesday, the practice today is limited to players with no more than four years’ experience in the NFL, and not even all the players in that category are in attendance.
Thirty seven players are on the field right now, one more than Tuesday. Within the next 30 minutes or so, coach Dennis Allen, offensive coordinator Greg Olson and defensive coordinator Jason Tarver will speak with the media.
In other news, the Raiders waived running back George Winn from their practice squad and kicker Eddy Carmona from injured-reserve list.

Bo Jackson and Marcus would suck behind this garbage oline, we need to get healthy quick

I understand all the cap ramifications of those years. We should have made the playoffs in the Hue season (loss to SD). It’s just after 11 awful yrs….. we need a break……….either by hiring/finding the next Gruden or by not drafting Jamarcus or Mclain. I’m hoping TP is the “break” we need to start winning again.

Haven’t been wrong at all. Not on any player eval. Premature eja-violators like u think a couple good halves mean Pryor is good. It doesn’t.

Besides qb, I’ve been absolutely right in all these players:

Or the teams that manage the cap and roster in ways that make them consistent contenders.

Well if Flynn has a nice run in buffalo, that will speak volumes.

  • RediaR

    Really not worried.

Seriously, it was Matt Cassell he was playing…DeAngelo Hall is in the hall of fame b/c of Jay Cutler, wouldn’t consider him an elite corner.

Magic Johnson put about twice as much money in his team than the Cardinal to give them a better chance. He was thinking about winning not how much money he can save. Sometimes it pays off like it did with the Yanks and sometime it doesn’t .

    New nonpost.

  • RediaR

The Yanks don’t have a cap to deal with.

Branch worth even more than how much more he’s making than Missile Mike.

JV was quoted the other day as saying his rehab was coming along really well and that he hadn’t experienced any issues (setbacks).
