Must win today, would love to see Pryor just freakin go OFF and have old Chip Kelly Drooling on the sidelines wishing he had our guy…..Make em Pay TP–4 TD’s 125 yards rushing/ 250 yards passing!

  • the animal dr robert

This game is all about Pryor vs. Foles.

2nd year guy vs. 3rd year guy.

Both defenses better against run than pass.

Foles has played well. 100+ rating. 6 DT passes and no picks.

Will he get the chip kelly offense going and can Pryor keep up?

  • the animal dr robert

If Pryor can do well, we can win a lot of the next 6 games.

If he can’t, it’s gonna be downhill quickly.

  • 0ak R8rs

It’s not blog legend. It’s fact. Hue said it himself, he had no idea what to do w him. It’s also a fact that Palmer himself didn’t think he was getting enough time from hue and the coaching staff, he said that as well. So exactly how much time do you think Pryor was getting? I’ll say exactly 0.0

In year two, he was inactive for at least the first 10 weeks behind Palmer and Leinart, probably a good move, since he didn’t know how to throw at that point anyway, Pryor said that much himself.

So here we r in his year 3. And it’s is first year that he’s been able to start on a consistent basis, to me SD last year doesn’t even count. It was a pointless game to both teams. He had offseason work where w essentially recreated himself as a QB. And still, very little first team reps thanks to that bum Flynn in TC. So even w the started, he had almost no opportunity to get any sort of chemistry w the WRs.

You can say he’s 3rd year all you want. And I’m not making excuses for him either. He doesn’t need them. After today, in all likelihood he will be a winning QB on a team that was projected by most to be the worst team on the league this year. Moreover, he’s 12th in the league in passing percentage, and middle of the pack in QBR. And, he has less INTs than more than half the QBs in the league, and 2 of them weren’t his fault in anyway. To me, that’s fine for a “first year” QB. I have no complaints. I need to make no excuses.

  • the animal dr robert

Just like a lot of 3rd year qbs.

Mcgloin and Wilson aren’t “getting attention” right now.

Lots of picks “aren’t the qbs fault”.

He is to be judged exactly like every other qb.

Saying things like “last years sd game really didn’t count” is nonsense to me.

It was an nfl game. He started. No asterisks.

  • jtdxyz

As long as D keeps playing like it has Pryor just has to limit some of the mistakes…along with the rest of the O, don’t turn the ball over when your D is playing lights out

  • the animal dr robert

An “exciting and explosive” game manager?

    That’s Pryor?

  • 0ak R8rs

He wasn’t the same QB last year. And that game meant less than any other game he’s played this year. And he’s doing just fine. Wilson and McGloin r in the same position. And of one of them earns the starting job in 2015 I’ll say the same thing about them. It’s essentially their “rookie” year. Only one on the field in meaningful game means anything to the evolution of a QB. You can do all the film study and practice you want. Real game experience is where it happens. And this is his first year getting that. Next year, he will actually have a full TC. Then the excuses go a way. For now? He doesn’t need excuses. He’s doing just fine.

  • jtdxyz

Why not??? If they get the running game going…just gotta convert some more 3rd downs, not doing well there…stops stupid INTs and drops

  • 0ak R8rs

An exciting and explosive game manager would be perfect for a team w solid defense and ST and a running game. We have 2 out of the 3 right now. We just need to get better in all areas. And that’s exactly what we r seeing every week. Getting better. In all areas.

  • the animal dr robert

But he’s NOT a rookie. He’s a 1st year starter. Referring to him as a rookie reeks of excuse-making.

And he’s not doing “just fine”. He’s struggling.

Worst pass offense in the nfl. Only 5 Td passes in 6 games.

Playing much worse since the first half of sd game.

    Just the facts.

  • Raider O

About the same size and speed. 6’3 220 and 4.6 40

  • 0ak R8rs

He’s doing just fine. Better than half the QBs in football in his “rookie” year. Setting the media world on fire, and giving Raider fans something to look forward to for the first time in over a decade. He’s brought in excitement and enthusiasm and team unity and belief. He’s had 3 games w 0 picks, and 2 that weren’t his fault at all. He’s only completed one long pass, but he’s only attempted maybe half a dozen. He complets one or two long balls per game, and his stats look a whole lot different. That, combined w the wins he’s getting (the only thing that really counts) would be fantastic. For now, I’ll settle for the wins.

  • Raider O

I like Hooters. Good food (love their wings 911), eye candy, and football. Does it get any better?

  • 0ak R8rs

Been to Hooters twice. Some of the most disgusting wings I’ve ever had. Soggy and flavorless. If it wasn’t for tlts they’d have been out of business a long time ago. Had one fail out here already.

  • Raider O

I agree. There is a few ways to build a successful team. You don’t need an elite QB to go to the SB.
    Flacco
    Kap

  • 0ak R8rs

Is he active today? I know he practiced, but it was limited.

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

If I recall the last two pre-seasons, Criner’s problems were like that of other receivers–can make out of the world receptions and drops the easy ones.

  • BossKnows01

Keep that revolutionary offense to under 21 pts today to seal the W

  • Just Fire Baby

Twin Peaks is much better food, and just as good as “talent”

  • Just Fire Baby

Schefty and Incognito on a tweeter beef right now with others jumping in.
    Pretty interesting.

  • Raider O

I was always happy with my wings. I don’t know where you went, but I have been eating hooters wings since I was in Ohio. Love’em!!

  • 0ak R8rs

Haha. Had them in Scranton pa, closed now. Ocean city Maryland and maybe one other place. Sucked everytime. Glad you had a better experience than me!

  • 0ak R8rs

    Over the “bullying” I’m guessing?

  • Raider O

    Too bad.
All this talk about Hooters has me craving wings now. Lol

  • Raider O

    TP on Fox NOW.

Big story this morning on “the leader of the defense” for #Raiders … and it’s not Charles Woodson …

    *****************************************
Doesn’t say who it is though. Nice tease I guess

  • Raider O

    I thought it was Houston.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    GAME DAY!!!
    GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • seymour bush

GAME DAY!!! See you all in the Coliseum for another beatdown of the Beagles. And BTW the leader of the defense is Nick Roach.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Pryor has had three home and three wins in those games.
Having said that, Pryor needs to show us more this year.

Notice that the brighter athletes don’t have a twitter account (or use it, anyway.)

  • Just Fire Baby

    EVeryone showering love on TP.
Hell even Bryce Harper (?????) just tweeted about how much he likes this “Terrell Pryor guy”.

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

I know little about this story. Haven’t been following it, but did hear this morning that the guy who claims bullying has his mommy and daddy on the case, Harvardites…..makes me think they are working the political angle on purpose and that all have decided use son’s experience in the NFL to do so. Also heard he’s getting mental health treatment.
Yeah, like it really helps his mental health to blow this up into a huge societal issue……

  • Just Fire Baby

Vets are forcing players to pay for everything, including one rookie on min salary to pick up 30K dinner tab. Martin coerced to pay 15K for a Vegas trip for some teammates that he wasn’t going to.

  • KoolKell

Dennis, if you get them mfkrs down, put your foot down, ok? Please.

  • c2e

The second half today will be very telling.

  • aig-raiders
  • Just Win Baby

McFadden off tackle for a gain of about a yard…….that will be the story of the offense today unless Philly jumps out to an early lead.

  • aig-raiders

Huge game for the Nation today. Good luck gents.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Eagles have held the last four teams they played to under 100 yards rushing total and haven’t allowed any individual to reach 100 yards.
They’re 9th against the run but we’re the 5th best running team thanks only to Pryor.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    Put it down hard!

  • the animal dr robert

My point is everyone claimed they hated game managers and wanted Pryor cuz he would be amazing.

Until he wasn’t. Now u guys want a game manager.

    As long as it’s Pryor.

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

And how should one handle that? Go to one’s lawyer. Period. No club owner, no coaching staff wants it out that such things have been going on. If he wasn’t man enough or able to make it stop, all he had to do was get his attorney on it and it_would_have_stopped because of the fear of owners and coaching staff.

  • c2e

some throwback uni’s today. anybody know about us?

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

We’re going to have to be successful at something other than the running game.

  • R8derdiehard

Raider nation ……. Game day folks!!!

Sidenote …. 3rd string Tull to start for buffalo. What happened to Flynn is he even on the team..

  • aig-raiders

if the Bills play conservative and force A smith to beat them, they have a strong chance. Go Bills.
