Last week Pitt won the toss and decided to take the ball at the half. We scored first drive. (first play).
In the past when we’ve won the toss, we’ve declined receiving the ball. I know that DA wants us to get the ball first in the second half, but I don’t like that tactic. I want the ball first and I want some first downs, even if we don’t score, to establish field position for the D.
I don’t want our O to have to come from behind, not even from 3 pts. behind. Our O plays better with the score tied or even.

  • R8derdiehard

I think there going to try and force the passing game today weather it works or not because of all the critasism. There is some pride on the line even if they won’t admit it 27-10 raiders all day baby . CODE BBQ CHICKEN

  • The Big Banana

He’s there as an “oh sch1t, all 3 QBs are hurt. Send Flynn in and call a bunch of run plays and screen passes.”

  • plunkhead

Jamel Charles has 38.5 % of the chefs total yards

  • the animal dr robert

Blaming the victim. Part of the bullying problem.

  • 0ak R8rs

Don’t lump me in w “them”. I have no problem w a game manager. That’s why I was looking forward to Flynn, which turned out to be an unmitigated disaster.

Pryor could be the best of both worlds. Ball control w break out athletic ability that needs to be respected.

  • the animal dr robert

Lol. U chose to believe “them”.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

The Redskins are doing their level best to lose.

  • Just Fire Baby

LOL at going to lawyer over that.
Nope, you go to the coaching staff, if that doesn’t work you go to the media.

  • 0ak R8rs

    How?

  • Just Fire Baby

Chiefs are a mirage, as I have been saying for a good month now.
Lose in the 1st round of the playoffs is about their ceiling.

  • Just Fire Baby

    Bob Griffin stinks

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Agree with you. I want us to get the ball first also,

  • fingersrdrs

The Chefs have been getting all the breaks through the first half season…. Sooner or later the breaks will go against them…. Donks Too….. I hope .. Lol

  • Just Fire Baby

    Typical Chiefs.
Rookie QB making his 1st start throws it right to a Chief.
Won’t happen when they finally start playing actual NFL QB’s.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    An 8-0 mirage huh?

  • Just Fire Baby

Yup. They won’t win a playoff game, and I wouldn’t be suprised if they went 2-6 or 3-5 the rest of the season.

  • The Big Banana

Lol, Vegas. You also said they’d be lucky to win 6. Recall your offseason Chiefs assessment before patting yourself on the back too much.

    All good tho, buddy. ;)

You have good takes. Just gotta keep you honest.

  • the animal dr robert

Just joking. U went to Pryor side.

  • Just Fire Baby

So all you people that love to hate Warren Sapp and the “biased media” he just predicted we would make the playoffs this year.

  • Just Fire Baby

What am I patting myself on the back about?
I didn’t realize they would play a QB making his first start of the year or a rookie damn near every week.

  • Raider O

This is good. Not as good as predicting Knapp’s offense scoring 30+ points, but it’s good.

  • Raider O

Their defense is ranked 1st in yards allowed and sacks, and 2nd in points allowed

  • the animal dr robert

I don’t pay attention to guys like that. He really doesn’t have any displayed expertise. Just a former DT.

  • Raider O

He is still an ignorant loudmouth idiot.

  • Just Fire Baby

They have played QB’s named Pryor, Keenum, CAmpbell, Tuel, Gabbert and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Talk to me in about a month or so.

  • The Big Banana

I don’t think anyone is arguing the Chiefs are a legit Super Bowl contender, but they are better than you thought they’d be. Not that this brings me any joy.

They’re not impressive at all, I agree. But they are playing much better under Reid and taking advantage of opportunities. They’re certainly not a juggernaut, but it still takes a decent team to take advantage of and consistently put away the bad ones.

  • Just Fire Baby

Maybe, but not a “Raider hater”.

  • Raidersfan727

does bringing matt flynn in as a backup automatically boost the other quarterbacks to be better?? seems like it

  • Just Fire Baby

Smoke and mirrors. It’s all coming to an end very soon.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

One the definitions of the term “sappy”, which is a good description of Sapp, is someone who’s “silly or foolish”.

  • The Big Banana

The guy is still a loudmouth clown, and loves to kick people and teams when they’re down. Hence, he makes a good talking head.

  • Just Fire Baby

I don’t mind Sapp at all. If I am going to watch “talking heads” I want them to be loudmouths, controversial types.
If I want to do boring, I can listen to Mike and Mike or something.

  • Just Fire Baby

    How ridiculous is Jimmy Graham?

  • Raider O

    And Romo and Eli Manning.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Officials in the discharger game brought their usual pile of crap.

  • Just Fire Baby

Chargers are a last second iffy call on opening night, and a last second loss in Tennesse away from only being a one loss team.
That might look like a really, really good win for us at the end of the year.

  • Just Fire Baby

They beat Romo by one point at home.

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    True.
For some damn reason they play really well on the East Coast.

  • Just Fire Baby

Chiefs go Denver, SD, Denver after this week, if they lose to the Bills they could be a 3 or 4 loss team before the end of Hannukah

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Rivers reads the pre-snap defence fast.
Pryor can’t read the pre-snap defence and that’s something he needs to work on.

  • eastoaklandraider

Don’t make excuses if you said 6 wins you said 6 wins because if they were on pace to win 6 you would have no problem saying your called it. Either way you were way off bsse rookie qb’s ot not.

  • plunkhead

Speaking of the Titans, they will be real tough to beat

  • Just Fire Baby

    I don’t do I told you so’s.
    It would get tiring.

  • aig-raiders

Been saying it all year. To beat the Chiefs, dont try to beat their D and end up turning the ball over. Play conservative and force A Smth to beat u. Most of the time A Smith can’t. His 3 points was off a turn over today.

  • RaiderE

Chiefs might be the most overated 8-0 team of all time. I can see them free-falling to 9-7, even 8-8. Alex Smith is crap.

  • aig-raiders

the prob is opposing teams under estimate their D. Very good D but lousy QB.

  • eastoaklandraider

You were off base, i would have been too.

  • Just Fire Baby

Cribbs running the wild cat, throwing passes, and is averaging more yards per punt return and kick return than anyone on our team, hasn’t fumbled once and forced a fumble on kickoff coverage once.
    Stupid, stupid cut.

  • eastoaklandraider

Watching Carolina and I see a team that i think we wanns mirror
They run the ball have creative Passing plays and play tough D.
