Criner active for first time

Raiders wide receiver Juron Criner is active for the first time this season, with Brice Butler and Andre Holmes designated as inactive Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Butler, a seventh-round draft pick out of San Diego State, had two dropped passes in a 21-18 win over Pittsburgh. Holmes was expected to have an increased role but has been battling a hamstring strain.

Also inactive for the Raiders are safety Tyvon Branch, defensive end Ryan Robinson, center-guard Andre Gurode, defensive lineman Brian Sanford and tackle Tony Pashos.

Also active for the first time today is linebacker Martez Wilson, claimed off waivers from the New Orleans Saints two weeks ago. Tackle Menelik Watson is also active. Watson hasn’t played in a game since playing the first half against Seattle in the preseason finale.
