End 3rd qtr: Giants 21, Raiders 20

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, November 10th, 2013 at 12:18 pm in Oakland Raiders.

An interception and 65-yard return by Terrell Thomas set up an Andre Brown touchdown to give the Giants a 21-20 lead late in the third quarter.

The play came on a forced third-and-2 pass from Terrelle Pryor when the Raiders had the potential of at least getting a field goal attempt and taking a 23-14 lead. The Raiders earlier from their own 20 to the Giants 1′ with a first down only to have to settle for a 24-yard Sebastian Janikowski field goal.

1st and goal on the 2. Shotgun + incomplete passes = loss

  • JOn Wooah

JASON CAMPBELL was our best QB since Gannon, admit it trolls.

HUE WAS OUR BEST COACH since GRUDEN.

  • JOn Wooah

OLSON, TP2, and Woodson all need to go

  • Alex7

Last TD pass was October 13th.

    It’s November 10th.

    8 INTs since then.

  • lefty12

The coaches know even if the blog GMs don’t.

  • Chino

    This sucks..

  • 10centsworth

hmmm, waste a roster spot? That is funny.

I think at worst McGLoin has to get some reps with the 1′s this week.
Maybe we can benefit from teams having no film on him for a fw weeks before he crashes and burns as well.

  • fingersrdrs

Terrible Qb play… Terrible play calling….

  • Alex7

plenty of QBs throw TDs. Manning threw it from the 1 despite 100-yard effort from Brown.

  • Dakota

Like I have been saying since week 1…..

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Raiders defense had a great game, Pryor had his opportunity, time to start McGloin promote Wilson, play those two, to see whether we need to draft a QB in the first round.
We just moved into a top ten overall draft pick.

  • JOn Wooah

U guys didnt like Jason Campbell but he won games, and was a good game manager,, and he could throw the deep ball.

Name Player of the week last week too.

HUE plus Jcampbell had this team rolling. Sucks he got hurt and Al passed. was at least a 10 win team

  • JOn Wooah

Wilson has nothing for this Raider team. Start McGloin and trust Reggie knows how to draft a Qb

  • Alex7

which part? the sacks? The pick 6? The defense giving up 10 legit points?

  • xXRaider2DaHeartXx

By the end of the season

  • lefty12

You are a hypocrite. You rooted against every QB on the team so TP could play. You are a TP fan not a Raider fan.Nobody is celebrating TPs performance, just pointing out he isn’t getting the job done and isn’t improving.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Not true. Miss Tick tell you that? You weren’t here.

    The fumble

  • turf toe

Second half again. Other team made adjustments again. Got killed again. Clueless again.

  • lefty12

    Wouldn’t count on it.

  • Alex7

he won games? He beat bad teams when DMac ran for 150+.

Choked EVERY big game away – vs Steelers, vs 49ers, vs Titans to start season, vs Rams when job was in jeapordy…

  • loyal

    Well that was fun

  • turf toe

Sorry, JOn. I don’t trust Reggie at all. flyn, Tyler, etc.

@VicTafur The same fans that hailed Pryor as a savior after the SD game, are now blasting him. He’s basically a rookie. This is gonna happen

    im not buying it joey

    new post

  • Alex7

solid post. Gotta see what we have before we draft. Plenty of QBs step in and show talent right out of the gate.

  • SlashNHack

As soon as Priest went all in on Pryor I knew he was toast…. The kiss of death….all of his project players who are supposed to develop flame out

  • Alex7

low round picks. no one expects much from 5th and 7th round picks.

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Woodson played great today. Raiders defense only gave up one touchdown drive, all other scores were due to punt block for a td and an interception to set up the td, when a fg would’ve put us up by nine

  • R8erEduc8er

    so friggin stupid

  • 10centsworth

Brady. He was once asked, right after he stepped in (and kept the job) if he was surprised with his success. He looked at the asker like he was crazy. “I was the starting QB for Michigan. Ever hear of it”. McGloin: Penn State, won the job twice against all odds. He’s worth a look.
