Bo knows fire, too, it appears

Share

Former Raiders running back Bo Jackson is going to light the Al Davis ceremonial torch before Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans at the Coliseum.
Jackson hasn’t spent much time around the Raiders since he retired after the 1990 season. He is the latest in a long line of big-name Raiders players and coaches from the past invited back by owner Mark Davis.
He played for the Raiders from 1987-90 and averaged 5.4 yards rushing before a hip injury ended his career. Jackson also played baseball for the Kansas City Royals before he moved on from the public eye.

isn’t that where us nerds post from?

  • Davy Jones

*sigh* The comment section is below the blog posts. Do try to keep up.

  • rifflicks

I feel the same way with you discussing football

  • Jaquars didn’t see the game apparently.
Or talk to him, because dude was a full alcoholic.

  • R8derdiehard

    Always have

  • Davy Jones

You mean this was a discussion? I thought you were just jabbering at me. At least Alex cherry picks some statistics.

  • alex7

cherry picks every QB statistic imaginable because Pryor is bottom-5 in them all.

  • rifflicks

    jabbering?
no that would be your wife

  • alex7

Charlie at Walter Football .com has us taking QB Brett Hundley in his latest mock draft. Had us taking Mike Evans in his previous mock draft. Hundley has an assistant coach that worked with Olson in TB, so we’d be privy to some good info on that, either way.

    Like his thinking.

  • Got to love the twitter, look up profile thingy through your email stuff.
My old Vegas stripper roommate is now following Mimi.
    Hmmmm………………

  • Davy Jones

In them all? A shame that all your expertise didn’t help you remember QB rush yards.

  • Davy Jones

What football acumen! You brewin’ up a Yo Mama joke for your next post?

  • MEX_GHOST

But that will mean Pryor is out the next year? Ala Alex Smith.

  • c2e

Are there even any McGloin jerseys being sold?

  • Davy Jones

    Probably will.

  • Rick Worth

    Internet tough guy eh?

  • J Hill

He hasn’t impressed me at all.

    Would rather have Murray.

Would actually like to see McGloin and Wilson before we decide if we need to draft another QB.

  • Rick Worth

    49 fan u are eh??

  • Rick Worth

    49er

  • I dogged him as a RB, but I am all-in on Taiwan to the Pro Bowl as a ST ace.
Dude is awesome covering kicks and punts. I honestly don’t remember a more impactful 10 game run for a Raider ST ace before.

  • Rick Worth

    Sure look like one!!

  • J Hill

    My Lakers need a PG.

    Dantonio should call up Pryor.

  • Smush Parker might still be available

  • Chino

Pryor is feeling under the weather at the moment.

  • I thought Condo was going to give W a big hug at the coin flip in Houston.
You can tell ol JonBon is a big fan.

  • Chino

Garrett Gilbert is my pick. Could have in the later rounds as well.

  • AutumnThunderstorm

I expect the Raiders to trade back if we are in the top ten. Qbs such as McCarron, Murray, possibly even Manziel & Carr should be available in the middle of the first round to early part of the 2nd round.
If not then we have either the OTs, Matthews & Lewan, pass rush specialists DE/OLBs Clowney, Murphy, and/or Barr there for us to draft.

    Bridgewater & Mariota probably at 1 & 2.
That makes eleven platinum draft picks.

  • AutumnThunderstorm

teams will be trading up this draft

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Watson’ s injury must not have been that serious, no MRI requested for him. Probably one of his previous injuries again.
I hope he is not going to be our next Chaz McFadden.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Surely not better than Hiram Eugene!?!

  • Rick Worth

    Bo Knows lighting torch!!

  • Jim Jesus

He will get us a couple of turnovers with his play, real soon. Can’t wait to see him just smash a returner in the chops ball bounce straight up in the air TD RAIIIIIDDERS!!

  • Rick Worth

Agree!! Where is Chaz that effin guy?

  • He got one in the Giants game and recovered another fumble earlier I believe.

  • Can ya’ll step up your blog game here? I got an hour and half to kill in a police station and nobody is here.
    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz………………….
