No, man. Kudlow talked like everything was peachy all through the Bush years, even while it was all crashing around us in 2008. He screamed how awful everything would be if BO was elected in 2008, has slammed every single thing he’s done since, and has railed against the Fed for five years. Anyone with even remedial economics education knows how much worse this would be had the Fed not been propping everything up. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, he continues to peddle the myth that supply side works.

  • Theghostronin79

I’m feeling Holmes…Cause He was in relief of DMO last week….This week he’ll be starting…..Get more action.

  • Jayhawk_Raider

Holmes is really where I’m leaning, I’m 9-2. Would you start Andre in place of Santonio or Cotchery. I’m think Santonio

  • RediaR

I’m starting Streater in a league where I’m dreadful at WR. Holmes and Rivera could have big days though.

  • PlunkforHOF

I was in the BH for the Steeler game. There was a guy in Steeler garb in the section above me mouthing off and generally acting like an azzhole. He started getting pelted with beer, food, and who knows what else. Then he wanted to fight, then he got taken away in handcuffs to rousing cheers.

  • Theghostronin79

    Word

  • JLofty

You’re killing me JFB. Ima start stalking the poor woman now…

  • Jayhawk_Raider

First start? Or you’ve been starting him? I’m in a keeper league and I’ve held on to DMo since his rookie year, my other two keepers were Gronk and DJax. My team always falls apart at the end of the season.

  • RediaR

I just picked him up. Sadly, I’m starting him WITH Santonio.

  • DutchRaid

Cotchery is kinda interesting…Brown should be shadowed by Hayden all game…so shouldn’t Cotchery be a good option? He is kinda on a hot streak…

  • Ted Stosterone

Oh man I love it. I love how fans of other sports teams can’t come to a
game and root for a visiting team without being physically assaulted by
fans of the home team. This kind of behavior really is the best part of
sportsmanship and should be celebrated here. I know I always feel like more of a fan when I’m raining beer down on girls who like different teams.

  • DutchRaid

    Vic Tafur @VicTafur 4m
DE Jason Hunter is out with a foot injury so DT Vance Walker will start at DE for 2nd week in a row and rookie Stacy McGee at DT…

  • R8derdiehard

Like it or not thats how it is. It’s not like people don’t know the reputation of going in there. Hell I’ve had people try to get on me for wearing a white raider jersey in the black hole.

Not saying I agree with all that goes on but hey enter at your own risk

  • RaidingTexas
  • no mas diamante

    Any word on Criner?

  • R8derdiehard

And to add those girls were not seated anywher in the black hole they were drunk and went down there as a big F-you to all the fans. And got the attention they wanted just in the wrong way.

  • fingersrdrs

    Raiders 27….Titans 17……

  • RaiderDebo
  • RediaR

That says a lot about what they think of Crawford, Robinson and Sanford. I know there will be a rotation and passing downs will look a lot different, but still. Can’t disagree with McGee getting in there more though. He’s been beastly of late.

  • Ted Stosterone

No argument on that point. I know that’s how it is. Just hate to see it celebrated. I’ve been on both sides. When I was like 18 I rolled into a Charger game wearing an eye patch and a ripped up black shirt. Was shocked at just how serious the threats were in the parking lot. Then I saw the giant “San Diego is Raiders Country” flag flying over a group of motorhomes circled like wagons during an indian raid. I walked over there was welcomed with open arms. I remember one of the old-timers—the father of one of the players said to me before I left, “You ARE going to take that stuff off before you go in, right?” I did end up ditching the eye patch. But inside I discovered an almost equal number of Raiders fans and never really felt too much heat.

  • Jayhawk_Raider

Santonio has high upside in my opinion. he could go off at any time now that he’s back.

  • Jayhawk_Raider

Yes, my thoughts exactly. I am thinking of picking up a WR to start in place of Santonio Holmes.

  • Ted Stosterone

I’ve got no problem with anyone getting back what they’re giving, that’s all good. I just think fans who behave reasonably civilized should feel safe going to games and rooting for an opposing team. Too many fans’ lives are pathetic and they forget it’s a GAME and that they aren’t on the team.

  • Jayhawk_Raider

he said that McGloin was garbage and no way we’d win against the Texans stellar D… I said what if they do win? and he said “they won’t”. LOL!!!!!!!!

  • Jayhawk_Raider

Titans are about to get smacked around! stop the run and we should be money this weekend!

  • R8derdiehard

I do think some people take it to far for sure. And don’t get me wrong I’m not celebrating it just sharing my experience of why if your not a raider fan you shouldn’t come. And I did warn them.

Went to a game with a friend who was a cowboys fan and he was smart enough not to wear any gear or celebrate the fact they were kicking our butts royally. That was back when me Deion sanders was with them. Man that guy was fast

  • R8derdiehard

    Agreed

  • PlunkforHOF

    WOW!!!

  • Ted Stosterone

Well said. When we were obnoxious teenagers we went to an Raider game in L.A. My buddy was a Donkey fan and he wore a bright orange Elway jersey. Denver won, and during the final 10 seconds my buddy started counting down as loud as he could. I just got up and walked away from him. I remember some dude could take it no more and started coming up the steps at him. Fortunately the dude’s girl grabbed his shirt and was practically tearing it off of him and pleading with him not to do it. But my buddy had a death wish, so he more or less deserved whatever came his way. But I do like to think maybe one day my own kids could be a little dumb and go to a rival game and not get beat for it. I see how stupid and I lucky I was over those years.

  • seymour bush

Tennessee has been getting horrible QB play. That is something we here all know something about.

  • Theghostronin79

On the sideline…….No helmet at practice.

  • DutchRaid

Are you going to petition Reggie to trade for Wimbley next year now that he has been demoted to 2nd string on the Titans?

  • Ted Stosterone

I was dirt poor when I went that Raider Charger game but I managed to score cheap tickets because they were so-called “obstructed view seats.” I didn’t know exactly what that meant, but they were all I could afford. Anyway, after hitchhiking to the game we get in the stadium and I discover they are row 1 seats. The “obstruction” is the players. Not ideal, but pretty damn cool. Speaking of fast, I’ll never forget their WR Anthony Miller broke a punt or kick return for a TD. It was surreal, as I couldn’t see anything but I could hear the crowd roaring and then just as he reached where were sitting the view opened up and he want past us so fast I was speechless. I could hear his breaths puffing as he blew by. Two Raiders made air born diving attempts for him at the sideline. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the level of talent and physicality. Miller was like 185 pounds but he was moving so fast I wouldn’t have wanted to get in his way.

another must win game against a very beatable opponent.. let’s hope we play a little better than we did against Washington.. home games are all must win games when you win only 1 or 2 road games a year.. we have enough talent and health to win this game. there are no excuses..

Its been very frustrating to say the least

  • http://www.cosmicdanceband.com/ SilverandBlack666

You cant put a bass amp in that car can you?

  • aig-raiders

He caught 5 or 6 passes last weekend. Automatically being the outlet for McG.

  • KoolKell

Raiders tackle Khalif Barnes has managed to avoid joining that lofty level, but just barely. For only the second time all year, Barnes made it through Sunday’s game without being flagged for a penalty. Barnes carried a six-game penalty streak into the Raiders’ Week 8 game. Apparently the bye week in Week 7 helped, as he stayed flag- and sack-free against the Steelers. But after avoiding the officials’ wrath for one week, he returned to form with a penalty in Week 9 and an amazing four penalties against the Giants in Week 10.

Barnes’ 4.5 sacks are pretty middle of the pack for an offensive tackle. But his penalties offer a pretty strong indication that he’s a tackle often in over his head. That’s somewhat understandable as he was supposed to compete for the Raiders’ right tackle job in training camp. Instead, because of the season-ending injury to left tackle Jared Veldheer, he’s been asked to play left tackle.

If you’re watching a Raiders game and you see a flag on the field, there’s a pretty good chance Barnes is involved. Barnes has been called for 12 penalties in 10 games this year, easily the most in the NFL. He’s been flagged for four false starts and called for seven holding penalties. He threw in an illegal formation penalty for good measure.

  • aig-raiders

SShhhh….dont let Chico know this. :)
btw…where did you cut and paste this from? We know you didnt write it.

  • seymour bush

You probably should give credit to who wrote this since you are stealing someone elses thoughts, writing and ideas Ole Raisin.

  • PlunkforHOF

    FU Herm Edwards..

  • PlunkforHOF

    Season-ending injury?

  • spiff

    he’s a better guard……………

  • JLofty

You tell him! Never liked that guy….

  • seymour bush

Tennessee has a pretty good set of corners and Bernard Pollard the safety from the championship Raven team. Without Moore out there, it could get interesting for McGloin.

  • KoolKell

If the Raiders can refrain from shooting themselves in the feet at key moments……………

  • JLofty

I thought Fitzgerald-Patrick played alright against the whoever that was Monday night.

  • PlunkforHOF

    He’s a show-boating azzhat.

  • jumpnjiminy

lock of the week: Chicago over St. Louis who’s favored by 1.

  • seymour bush

Actually you are right. He has improved from absolutely dismal to passable. Of course that might have been the Indian-crapolis secondary as well. The same one Pryor torched and we all thought he might be able to play. Boy were we wrong.
