McFadden, Rivera, Jenkins at practice

Running back Darren McFadden, tight end Mychal Rivera and cornerback Mike Jenkins are at practice tonight, though it’s anyone’s guess right now as to how much they’re able to do.
McFadden at least is moving around during the early portion of practice, while Jenkins and Rivera are standing on the side, watching. The fact that this is a light practice also makes it difficult to tell who’s full go, who’s limited and who’s in shut-down mode.
We’ll know more once the Raiders put out an official injury report, which they are required to do because it’s within four days of their next game.
Players will be available for media interviews at the conclusion of practice in about an hour.
Also of note, quarterback Matt McGloin worked on holding for kicks on a field off to the side. This, no doubt, is in response to kicker Sebastian Janikowski’s season-long struggles with his consistency.
Janikowski missed from 32 and 48 yards against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He has missed seven field-goal attempts this season, which matches his misses from 2011-12 combined.
Deposed quarterback Matt Flynn got in some work as a holder earlier this season after Janikowski got off to a rocky start. Before long, things seemed fine with first-time holder Marquette King and Janikowski. Now, it appears as if special teams coordinator Bobby April is open to making a change.
More on that later. For now, it’s just something to file away as noteworthy.
Wide receiver Denarius Moore (shoulder), linebacker Kevin Burnett (quadriceps) and strong safety Tyvon Branch (ankle) aren’t at practice. Moore missed the Titans game. Burnett suffered his injury late in the Titans game. Branch hasn’t played since Sept. 15.

What is the protocol when he’s got his head up his azz?

  • Rico Stifler

I am a Fresno State fan, so I watch as much of their games as I am able to.

    Raiders 9.5 point underdogs.
I actually think that is kind of low. I would have set it over 10 for sure.

  • 10centsworth

Maybe you recall, he was behind a line that had NEVER played together before the season started. We went down there and he looked all pro. We never touched him.

  • _Mista_

    No lie?

  • AutumnThunderstorm

    Super Bowl Championship, baby!

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

What was crippled about the last draft? We had the 3 overall pick and multiple 6th round picks. Yes, no 2nd rounder, but that isn’t “crippling”

  • 10centsworth

    In spirit?

  • Rico Stifler

Not really as his first ever pick wasn’t til 97th overall. Plus you can’t grade a draft during it’s rookie year either. It usually takes three years to accurately grade a draft.

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

Next three people taken after Bergs are fully contributing starters in the NFL.
Lamar Miller, Chris Givens, Gino Gradkowski.

  • Rico Stifler

Yeah, I agree. You can’t declare a draft questionable or a bust during it’s rookie season…

  • 10centsworth

Now if we could get their OC they let go. I think, tho, he got a lifetime contract.

  • RaidingTexas

You made Mrs Brown cream her panties with that PUP joke.

Legal if you are a runner.
Weird rule, feel bad for RB’s.

  • seymour bush

Don’t be an idiot any more than normal. Actually, if anyone said that Rush Limbaugh reported that Dennis Allen was going to start himself at QB this week, the jamista clown idiot would believe it.

  • spiff

personally wasn’t for da’s head but we need a coach with a killer instinct. with our record we don’t play like there’s nothing to lose.

  • RaiderDebo

Still better than Luck though. Luck has officially taken the most overhyped QB in the NFL crown from Matt Ryan.

Tr0lls are out in full force nipping at my heels like Pomeranian’s.

Washington leads the league in almost interceptions.

  • trogPOUNDA

i was just hoping that with zero cap flexibility he could have at least drafted some guys to start in the meantime

  • RaidingTexas

If only armchair GM work paid well.

  • Rico Stifler

But they weren’t their teams first pick of that draft. To be fair, i wanted to draft Kirk Cousins with that 97th pick. I didn’t much care for the Bergs pick either.

I have not heard much about Givens and never heard of Gino….

  • 10centsworth

Come on, Seymour, don’t tramp all over my lines. I still was working him.

  • Rico Stifler

Fourth round on, you’re usually drafting back ups…

  • Rifflicks

so you’re getting the attention you crave?

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

Gino starts for the Ravens at center.
Givens has 70 catches for 1100 yards so far in his career. For the Rams and those awful QB’s.

Raids are due for a coming out game. I know I was wrong about the titans. They ate our nutts. Not like I predicted. But I dare say we will bend the cowboys over and shove a turkey leg up their wind flute.

  • 10centsworth

Hey, anyone noticed? A veritable SLEW of highly rated QBs tanking and we got “FANS” on here chewing up a walk on giving us his heart. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to you.

  • _Mista_

Yah you had me hook line & sinker when I said “no lie?”.
    lol

Let Seymour loose that cross posting fknut tr0ll has nothing else to do with it’s life.

Janobass plays like there’s nothing to lose cuz he’s already lost his. Can’t seem to grow that pair back.

  • Rifflicks

Reggie didn’t implement his own scouting department until this last offseaeson

  • DJ Johnny

I referenced Carolina and Jax making their conference championships their second yr in existence and I realize they had special cap dispensation and draft picks to assist in their quick build. I get that.
I also understand Reggie did not have a lot of cap space to work with for this yr’s roster.
He’s done some good things. Is it any better than any other average GM could do? I don’t know.
Until I see this team winning (gulp) two games in a row for starters I will remain skeptical.
Green Bay’s roster w/out Rodgers is nothing.
    ONE GUY.
It would be impressive if they kept on rolling w/out Rodgers. They aren’t. WINLESS in 4 games since Rodgers went down.
It’s virtually the same roster Reggie helped build. The one everyone points to as hard evidence of what Reggie can and will do.
Well,,he better get working on that HOF QB then.

If you’re married, it must be to a deaf woman. Then again, I guess it’s possible to contradict everything in sign language too.

  • _Mista_

Seymour & Texas put your tr0lling on hold for a min and remind us all again what a pro bowl stud kicker SeaPerch is.

Hey, your best friend seems to be taking the blame now.

    Steve Corkran @CorkOnTheNFL7s

Sebastian Janikowski: “I wish I could play today. I want to go out there and play Dallas right now. I want to redeem myself a little bit.”

  • Rico Stifler

Also, they took Tony Boselli with the first pick in the expansion draft and he never played a down for them. The RB, Domanick Davis, they had back then was pretty good for a while and then he disappeared….

  • 1960AutumnWind

Been a lot less conservative last two weeks so your theory is probably right.

  • Big Tom ‘the hand’ Cable

Janobass has been neutered. Isn’t it obvious he has no balls?

  • 10centsworth

I wonder why he’s never hosted SNL. He seems to love being the goof. Wait. Maybe he’s being serious. I DO like the guy, withstanding…

  • The_Civilian_James_Trapp

He got his 2nd rounder back to have his “full draft”. There was a source within that said Hayden was #3 overall on “nobody’s draft board”. There were also whispers, reported by Walter Football, that many personnel guys questioned Reggie’s pick of Hayden.

  • The_Civilian_James_Trapp

Yeah how is Green Bay’s “depth” now?

  • Rico Stifler

The coaching staff isn’t getting the team prepared every Sunday. That is not on RM. RM tries and get the guys that DA wants and from there it is on DA.

  • 1960AutumnWind

Did you just answer your own question there? LOL

  • RTF916

We need a commenter that references testicles in every comment.

Was it the Wookie or our defense. When our defense is off we make everyone look like Tom Brady on a good day.
