End 3rd qtr: Raiders 21, Cowboys 21

The Cowboys scored on a 4-yard run by DeMarco Murray and were at the Raiders’ 17-yard line with first-and-10 to open the fourth quarter.

Dallas has gotten a spark from undrafted free agent running back Lance Dunbar, who has rushed for 77 yards in the quarter against a previously stout run defense.

Taking that dead money now frees up the cap space next season.

Very rarely does a new GM keep the existing coaching staff. I also think your credibility as you think any coaching staff with Bresnahan on it is good.

Drafted poorly? He basically only had one draft and you cannot reasonably say that a draft class is a bust during their rookie year. In that case, Nnamdi was a bust cuz he didn’t excel in his rookie season or year two. Although, I was not happy about cutting Bass.

DA sucks. Simple. never wanted him as HC. I honestly was hoping that RM would bring in Capers as HC.

Only Roach, Burnett, Maiava were brought in on multi-year deals. Roach and Burnett are playing like garbage?

I expect several players on one year deals to get re-signed/extended. RM signed so many one year deals to help with the 2014 cap space. He will sign some players to one year deals but not nearly as many as he did this year.

Share the Niner stadium? As far as I know that was never an option cuz the Niners don’t want to share and neither do the Raiders.

Can’t draft? Only had one draft so you can’t say that. Can’t coach? Yeah, DA sucks. Can’t run the org? RM axed the scholarship players and the players not worth their salaries. He has freed up cap space.

Dark days? No light at the end of the tunnel? Go root for the Patriots then and quit your beitching….

Take a shot of tequila–it’ll make you feel better, son

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

Let’s give credit to the building of the Niner D.

  • RediaR

If someone wanted to present to me the strongest argument for firing DA, it would be the constant insistence of giving Ford the ball despite the results ranging from disastrous to 2nd and 9.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Give me the shot. I don’t care how he feels.

  • disqus_yeZNegncsV

    hope not

  • 10centsworth

Only good if I ran over old ladies in crosswalks so I did my best. Got a wheelchair once and they didn’t blink an eye. They Hired an expert witness and I only got 8 years, but paid to get the blood off my fender.

  • seymour bush

    New post losers.

  • DJ Johnny

I remember when he was announced I scoured the Bronco boards gauging their reaction and came back here and reported on how upset they were to lose him. I liked the hire and hoped it’d be a Gruden type thing.
I gave him a pass last yr.
All I want is to win.
I am one of the few that feels we have/had enough talent to win a few more games than we have this yr.
    -Washington
    -NYG
    -Tenn…
ALL games we SHOULD have won imo. That would put us at 7-5 and in the drivers seat for the 2nd playoff spot.

  • Rico Stifler

Different roster, that one was more explosive on offense but a terrible terrible defense.. Oh, and it was a non-losing record, wasn’t a winning record as we finished 8-8. 9-7 wuld be a winning record.

  • RaiderCDE

    Never.

  • RediaR

    Too soon

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    We had the same Agent!

  • 10centsworth

Way to hang in there, Pman. I sveltely downed about a bottle and half of good wine, two nice shots of VSOP and headed home. Took awhile, I can only drive where they got crosswalks. Wait. I hear sirens. Hold on, I’ll see what the excitements about. Strange, I don’t have a neighbor for ten miles.

  • Back-N-Black

just watched press conference and Allen was asked this very question… Who’s decision was it? Allen’s response, “I don’t know, I’ll have to look at the tape and see what he saw, but obviously you can’t throw an interception in that circumstance and that’s a mistake he’ll have to learn from.” That seems to indicate it was the QB’s decision.

  • RediaR

Those 2 8-8 mirages may have been the worst thing to happen to Raiders fans that have to deal with Raiders fans that saw a Lombardi in the desert.

  • Rico Stifler

My point is if we are good enough the get a lead then we should be good enough to hold onto it… I didn’t say anything about holding a lead being customary. Your comment makes you sound like a fvcktard.

  • Rico Stifler

IMO, Carr is the most likely of the QBs expected to be in the 2014 draft to be the most successful…

  • RediaR

Ew, Capers. Now he should be fired this year in that alternate dimension.

  • 10centsworth

Mine doubled as a Public Defender. Worked at Chico’s Car Wash on weekends. I’ll tell him you said hola.

  • RaiderCDE

We could also have *easily* lost 3 of the 4 wins we have too. Not to be negative – but its the truth. This team is *not* better than last years and def way worse than the previous 2 seasons before they took over.

That’s the lie that Davis/DA/Reggie are trying to sell the fans to get them to come to the games – go to one – you’ll see they aren’t buying it. Bottom line – this team was 8-8 2 previous seasons before they took over and now they are laughing stocks and are not building towards anything but more of the same.

Again not to be negative – its just the facts. Anyone trying to sugar coat it is just lying to themselves.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

I’m sure it’s nothing. Hide behind a rock until they go away. You’ll be on you own of course. drunk, with nothing for ten miles in any direction. we charge people for that. It’s called llama packing in the wilderness.

  • 10centsworth

Boy, would Dawg run with that line.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

California and Arroyo seco in Pasadena.I remember him.

  • turf toe

    Yes

  • Rico Stifler

    Two things….

One, you simply cannot label a draft to be a bust during it’s rookie season.

Two, thrown millions down the toilet? then how are we expected to be 50M under the cap next year?

God, i hate dealing with idiots like you that thinks everybody should hit on every draft pick, every coaching hire even if they are a first-time GM…

  • DJ Johnny

I don’t know if Reggie is the man or not to get us turned around.
Until I see more wins I won’t be convinced.
HOPE and 50 mill to spend is one thing, but my enthusiasm is tempered with some of the decisions he’s made.
Some have been good, some not so good.
People pointed to what HE did at GB. I don’t how much HE did but it appears that it isn’t much of a “team” that was really built there. W/out ONE GUY… Rodgers…they are:
    0-4-1.
Maybe the ‘GB WAY’ is getting yourself that HOF qb first and foremost.
Don’t know where he’s gonna come from.

Not hating on Reggie just throwing that out there.

  • RediaR

The only fact you have is two mediocre teams based on overloaded contracts to rapidly declining players. The rest is poorly constructed conjecture based on bad logic and emotional stress.

  • Rico Stifler

Capers has only been a HC twice as far as I can remember. Both times with expansion teams. First with the Panthers and again with the Texans. I just thought that he could have been a good, solid HC for us cuz I wanted RM to hire an experienced HC and not a rookie HC.

  • turf toe

    yeah

  • Rico Stifler

    Then quit your beitching…..

  • 10centsworth

Gotta go. Damn, these cuffs are tight, but I got a plan. I saw Humphrey in High Sierra. Plan B.

  • Rico Stifler

Eh, go root for the Patsies and Tom Gaydy….

  • turf toe

Some guy with a zipper down his chest. And a pacemaker.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

New post. But I’m still mining this one for pearls. You know who you are.

  • Rico Stifler

So they aren’t missing their #1 WR Cobb anymore or their starting TE in Finley???

  • turf toe

    we suck

  • Rico Stifler

    DA sucks for sure…

  • turf toe

I’m not happy. Everything is not fine. We have a lousy, poorly led team.

  • 10centsworth

One last tip. Upchuck in the 5th.

  • turf toe

    yeah

  • turf toe

He has to go. No magic. Can’t adjust to save his life.

  • 10centsworth

I think they give them a drug test so I doubt it.

  • turf toe

Much better than I could have hoped. No problem with McGloin from now on.

  • Orthodoxdj

Yeah, because that’s what I’m advocating.

  • 10centsworth

Pman out of retirement. Hmmmm, that’s a thought.

  • turf toe

    yes

  • 10centsworth

    My pearls don’t glint anymore.

  • 10centsworth

I deserve this blog. Time after time, I don’t see the New Post frenetic signal and ensuing mad dash, so here I am, delivering my A material and I … wait. Ten minutes. Two hours. Check my internet connection and then the memory chip up my butt goes haywire. Oh well, cost of being a Raider.

  • turf toe

I can’t stand to look at his face anymore. He looks like a young shoplifter that just got caught.
