    Lechler has more touch.

Read the fine print, Dork – that’s 9 inches TOTALLY SOFT. Full lumbar is almost 17, if there’s a good cross wind

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Wonder’d where it all was going.

    new post

  • IAmAlwaysWrong

Jhill: are the Jets & Bills sold on Geno & EJ? Browns cool with Weeden/Campbell/Hoyer? Titans’ Locker? Bucs’ Glennon? Rams’ Bradford? Carson Palmer to retire? ….. there will be more than 3 QB’s taken in RD1 (not just Texans, Jaguars & Vikings)

  • Gdog

PFF doesn’t get all emotional about one fumble in a game where nearly 90 frigging points were scored.

That is what knee-jerk imbecile fans do.

And there is no better player rating service that I know of for such a cheap price… if you know of one, let me know!!

  • aig-raiders

Hill, He finally ran into a top D and they made him pay. Reece was on the radio today saying they need to do a better job of coming back to the ball. That 3rd int, I believe he expected our fullback to come back to him.

But here are McG’s issues, he stared down his left side too much. Often I saw guys open on the right that he missed. He’s also a fearless gun slinger and it finally got to him. He needs to learn to take the ugly 4 yds like Jennings.

Lastly, I fully expect rookie mistakes. Peyton threw 3 picks 3 times in first 6 games. But I see enough flashes to tell me we have something to build on. Leading the league in 25+ explosive plays is exactly what I observed so far. We have a lot of big plays that I have not seen in a long time with Raiders passing game.

  • SnBG

    Luke here…..I like beer.

  • J Hill

Wilson was the best QB at the senior bowl.

That’s where the Raiders supposedly took a liking to Wilson.

Just because one hack said McKenzie wanted Barkley doesn’t make it so.

Speaking of hack reports, how about the one that said McGloin was the owner’s choice early in camp?

Pryor and McGloin linked to the owner and they both play over the QBs the GM chose?

    So fishy.

What could Flynn have done to actually get cut? What could Pryor have done to not be able to get in the game when 14 stunk up the joint so bad?

Who knows WTF is going on around here, man.

  • Gdog

You can find TREMENDOUS deals on pretty much anything, and you don’t have to spend money on gas to pick it up. Amazon actually loses money on every sale.. its the craziest business model ever tried. They make all their revenue on customers buying stock, I think.

It cannot possibly be sustainable. I sold my Amazon stock…

  • J Hill

    Which 3?

There was ONE taken last year.

Can’t see 6 going this year.

  • Twinkle

Can’t see why people are raggin’ on Olsen and McGloin……as a rule 100+ yards rushing,400+ yards of offense and 31 points will get you a win in the NFL.Of course that assumes you have one or two guys on D that know what a screen pass looks like.
Used to take four years before a QB even sniffed the starters job…..we’ve flung McGloin to the wolves straight out the gate but the kids got moxie….not like he has an offensive juggernaut in front of him.Hell everyone on his line plays a different spot each week….miracle the kid’s still alive never mind hanging 31 on one of leagues supposed better defenses.
Sheesh give the guy a chance already!Love the way he gets rid of the ball quick and his arm ain’t bad….better than a lot of others…decision making will improve with time cause he’s not a moron. Can’t wait to fling the kid under the bus I guess.Hey we suck so why not give the guy a fair chance to improve instead of drafting yet another unknown……get a few stud linemen instead so he has more than two seconds before he gets face planted and then see how he improves

  • aig-raiders

Dear fellow Raider fan, rather than paying some yoyo to rate players for you. Try watching the game, look up “objective stats” and rate them yourself. Now that’s an idea.

  • J Hill

    Can’t be your end all.

    For example, the Philly game.

The coach said that Hayden should have had help over the top on 2 of the 3 catches he gave up, but PFF didn’t ding Woodson AT ALL, only Hayden.

JFB and I were even commenting on C Wood DURING THE GAME.

  • aig-raiders

doing this with UDFAs across the board but he’s a career back up though…per the blog….smh

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Again?

  • SnBG

J.M. here…..MM is a back up. I’m the real deal. Period.

  • Davy Jones

Hard to put a good spin on 4 interceptions. More than Pryor ever threw in a game, just saying . . .

    *ducks*

  • SnBG

Pryor would not have got us 31 pts. Sorry.

  • Twinkle

Me too. It’s crazy….It’s not like we’re neck deep in options.Seems to me some sort of a defense would go a long way to help the cause.Yeah it’s frustrating for us fans to have to watch the on the job training bit but in in McGloin’s line of work a small error can get you killed.

  • IAmAlwaysWrong

last year was awful for QB’s – like the 2007 draft … this year will be great for them – like the 2011 draft

  • aig-raiders

Kid never folded yesterday. I love that about him. Gun slinger that we’ve been craving for. It’s not like he’s throwing to Fitzgerald. I do expect rookie mistakes but the positive potential are off the chart.

  • Davy Jones

Pretty loose. You said he had more “big plays” than Palmer. How was I to know you meant 25+ yard plays and not, y’know, total yardage and touchdowns???

  • Gdog

If it doesn’t have credibility (which is what Aig-moron is suggesting) just look at the QB rankings this year… the top 10 are (in order) Manning, Brees, Rivers, Wilson, Stafford, Tannehill, Rodgers, McCown, Brady, and Rothy.

Sooo… besides maybe McCown… who that follows football avidly would have a problem with this list??

  • Davy Jones

I didn’t say that he would have, did I? But people are acting like the 4 interception thing is meaningless. It isn’t. Draft a QB.

  • BossKnows01

How’s the weather in Sacramento? got that furnace going in the basement I take it?

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    And again

  • IAmAlwaysWrong

there are QB hits & misses in every draft … it goes about 50% *** do you guys trust Reggie will take the right player? ***

  • SnBG

Take the last train to Clarksville dude.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

I got more silly llama photo’s than you could ever google. You can’t top this one, can you?

  • Twinkle

I guess we need the second coming of Namath to even be halfway satisfied

  • Twinkle

I get the point but another rook QB is more than likely to do the same thing.

  • Davy Jones

Forget that last train. I heard McGloin is engineering a long drive, I’ll just intercept it.

  • SnBG

Oh Oh PTI is going to talk Raids/Chiefs.

  • 2romes

Clearly Dennis Allen ,going forward, wants to take a better look at the better passer on the team. I didn’t say better QB because they both have very different strengths and can be good QB’s if used correctly. I can understand if Dennis Allen feels more comfortable going with MCG. Reggie and Dennis envisioned a pocket QB from the start. He will try to use Pryor’s skill set when he feel it will help the team in the future he stated. I have no problem with that. Now that Dennis has made his statement about going with MCG he should make a better decision when putting Pryor in games as not to break MCG rhythm.

Dennis Allen should not be fired at this time is where I am right now. Reggie, Dennis discretely points to the lack of talent that fails them. Dennis states the team is fighting as hard as they can but can’t get done.

Will Dennis Allen have the accuses that he gives us today? I think not. The team next year should be a margin better than it is now, if not, that is when you tighten the leash. I think things get worst before it get better if you go in a different direction today.

  • aig-raiders

no if Manziel or Bridgewater or even Tyler Wilson put up these numbers, they’d be jumping for joy. Sad.

  • Alex7

Any GM can miss on a person. Hard to evaluate people performances going forward.

20+ GMs whiffed on Rodgers. It’s a coin flip no matter who is selecting.

  • turf toe

    Tony Romo. Toooooe-kneeee-Roooe-Moe…..

  • Howard Benner

Bridgewater is vascilllating whether he might enter the NFL draft. . .

  • turf toe

I like what Steve had to say about Reggie. It’s the end of year two and the results are very disturbing. Mark was nuts to give him such a long contract.
