Ford among Raiders inactives

Wide receiver Jacoby Ford is one of seven players declared inactive for the Raiders game Sunday against the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.

Ford’s use decreased last week with the return of Denarius Moore, who had missed three games with a shoulder injury and the ascension of Rod Streater and Andre Holmes as the top two wide receivers. It was his first time this season as a healthy scratch.

Also inactive for the Raiders are wide receiver Brice Butler, running back Jeremy Stewart, cornerback Chance Casey, guard Lamar Mady, center-guard Andre Gurode and defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin.

Inactive for the Chargers is quarterback Brad Sorenson, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, safety Brandon Taylor, cornerback Marcus Cromartie, guard Stephen Schilling, tackle Kenny Wiggins and defensive tackle Kwame Geathers.

Yeah..hitting your WR in the hands is a fools move…

  • OMG Wilson just about got picked he is worse than Palmer!

  • Raider O

    POs? No
4-22 and worse stats (points for and points allowed) than the below avg staff they replaced? No

  • Dakota

And that would have been on Wilson, not the receiver.

  • RaidingTexas

    Threw it too hard.

  • At least let then game play out before bashing the guy…..you premature e jack u lators

  • SlashNHack

  • Raider O

    Got it.

  • RaidingTexas

    He’s not?

  • Raider O

You didn’t ask a question, but I’ll play. You old farts can imagine things sometimes. If he sucks like DA? Yes 2 years, 4-22, and crapy stats in 2 seasons is a good enough reason to get fired.
Your turn to answer the question.

  • aig-raiders

    who’s offense?

  • SlashNHack

Was a joke 🙂 You have your agenda (or point of view) . You are supporting it with facts today so I can’t argue. In my heart I want continuity , but doesn’t seem to be merited. You know how that goes ?! Kinda like McFadden 🙂 You’re on target today… Tough to swallow

  • RaidingTexas

I’ve seen enough of Palmer over the years to know he’s a choke artist. Today means nothing.

  • The Big Banana

Silver – did you make a proper offering to your Palmer shrine. I need him to win these last 2, Saints win last game, and Niners lose. Not gonna happen, but one can hope.

  • RaidingTexas

Why do you keep starting threads about Palmer? Go to a Cards blog.

  • EMRaiders

This game will tell us whether or not DA still has this team. If the players come out flat and get beat on every play, then its safe to say DA has lost the lockerroom uf not his job.

  • Lets go McGloin!!!!
