  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

What’s the greatest day of Mistic’s life?

That one Raiders loss a few weeks ago. He even said so himself.

  • BossKnows01

This year was the least entertaining football i’ve watched since the 06-09 seasons thanks to DA, even last year I could hang my hat on garbage time Palmer

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    Orthodoxdj

McGloin has serious potential. I don’t care if people on here don’t like him. He was robbed of a TD to Streater. We would’ve been down six. Keep him and work with him.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
At first I was against him since it seemed that he had an advantage over Wilson having pro-style experience in college but he keeps proving people wrong.
We should remember that this guy is a rookie who just played in just his sixth NFL game.
He played an average game but there were plenty of passes that should have been caught and before his interception he was 6 of 7.
The guy makes rookie mistakes but he has a lot of plusses.

  • Charlie

We need money and draft picks.

  • prometheus

sounds your little wiener gets hard when the Raiders lose

  • 2romes

People that never want him as a stater surely don’t want to hear that. Fact is the coaches saw it in the game as he was playing it.

  • Raider O

Luke Joeckel was a better prospect.

  • Dakota

I always love me some o-line!

  • Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

    I agree.

    FIRE REGGIE NOW.

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Guaranteed of a top nine dtaft position, at best#2.

St. Louis still has shot at #1 overall.

  • Davy Jones

Not bad for a rookie UDFA- but not good enough that you don’t draft a QB.

  • HELLSBELLS

Really makes it hard to get a feel for who we our going to draft.

  • Dakota

Actually, I remember reading that Matthews was the better prospect while looking into Joeckel last year.

  • Chino

If he was a 1st rounder with the same production you wouldn’t be saying that

  • funnyfalcon

Philly jumping all over the Bears.

  • HELLSBELLS

Still think a QB is in play with our first pick no matter what MM is doing.

  • 0ak R8rs

And he’s boring. And Matt Flynn isn’t relevant.

  • the authoritative dr robert

    Misery loves company.

Pryor failed. U said he was a space god. Ur both history.

    Best part of the season.

    Bigots go home.

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Raiders do not have a veteran qb on the roster, we have rookies teaching rookies basically, Pryor and Flynn aren’t rookies I know, but they only had three starts between them, no one to tell Pryor or McGloin Hey don’t that, do it this way.

  • Charlie

No way we will know who we will pick at number one.
I can see us trading down for more picks next year.
As I have said for years NO QB wins with the lines we have today. See Palmer and Collins.
Massive infusion of line talent is needed to be able play winning football in December.

  • the authoritative dr robert

That was both hilarious and sad.

  • prometheus

    which one?

  • the authoritative dr robert

    What was it again?

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Dungy is in my top five

  • Jim Jesus

I say we take STAR. I was dreaming………….is this really how it turned out.?

  • Dakota

    new post

  • AutumnThunderstorm

Raiders need to sign Moore, McCown, or Cutler

  • Angry Little Man

    2013 Draft -

    1. D Hayden. very questionable pick coming off of a near fatal injury. Didn’t play football for an entire year afterward. Was put on ir for the remainder of the season with a sports hernia.
    2. Menelik Watson. promising talent that seems to be injury prone.
3.Sio Moore. solid starter if unspectacular.
4.Tyler Wilson. put on waivers 3 times. waste of a fairly high pick.
5.Nick Casa. special teams player at best.
6.Latvious Murry. put on IR before season started.
    7. M. Rivera. solid TE with good upside.
    8. S Mcgee. Has become a regular in the rotation.
9.Promising rookie in preseason and training camp played a few games in the reg season then off the map since then.
10 D Bass. nice pick up in the 7th round only to be cut before the season started. 1 sack and 10 hurries with the Bears not counting tonights game.

OVERALL GRADE C mostly due to injuries

ps my pick would have been STAR in the 1st.

  • Ron69

You better watch the Aggies game dec 31 the next raider might be there Matthews or Manziel

  • 0ak R8rs

To me after getting two feet in and making a football move and crossing the plane, it’s a TD. If he took 10 steps before the tackle/fumble, would you take the same position?

  • VanHeathen30

Who’s son moved up with Cookie out of the way…

  • kenchun24

I want the Raids to draft a QB too…just not with a top 5 pick in this upcoming 2014 weak top end QB class this year, take a Murray,Boyd,McCaron in the 2nd or 3rd and you will possibly equal the production of the Teddy,Manziel and Bortles dudes IMO.

  • 504 Raider

Not me. I know I’m drafting a QB first. You guys must have missed the part in the last drive where we look like we are down by 1 score instead of two scores. We were killing the clock for the Chargers. I watched Romo yelling at Garrett today to not call a timeout late in the game and save it. Turns out Romo was right and dumb dumb Garrett looked like a fool. McGloin has to take command of the clock too if his coaches can’t see it.

  • VanHeathen30

Love Coach, but how long has he been out of the league?

  • Jim Jesus

    lol

  • prometheus

Great HC and leader. would have this same team with same lineup at 8-8 or better. no doubt about it

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    Yeah, draft for defense.

  • jumpnjiminy

You could’ve had Manning behind Center today and we still would’ve lost…the dropped passes, penalties, sucky defense…ughhh

  • kenchun24

Star would have added so many possibilities to the D…DT 4-3 or NT 3-4 then take Barr maybe to have a Aldon Smith like pass rushing impact.

  • Angry Little Man

    if only

  • Rick Worth

    Craw your answer?

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

Romo has just a little more experience than the rookie McGloin.

  • Scourge of the East

It was easier using the Find command since the complete blog was available all at once.

  • prometheus

umm no. McGloin did miss a TD pass to that FAT fullback in the 1st quarter that manning completes. he also missed the TE deep too.

  • Eldiabs

Yeah and Ron Wolf thought so much of him that he had Reggie in the Mailroom for 20yrs

  • Rick Worth

    Fire DA now

  • Sir Raider Duck, OMS

    Three decades.

  • prometheus

manziel might be looking for real estate in Marin County

  • Eldiabs

He missed a couple of passes and threw a pick on our side of the field but we pinned our hopes on a walk on from Penn State then we deserve as much

  • 504 Raider

Don’t let Dr Robert hear you say that.
