So no money until he makes the roster?

  • kenchun24

Copy that…my mix up of cash vs. cap 2014 vs. 2013-1016.

  • jumpnjiminy

It’s not impossible…but the Raiders need to get the only guy in this year’s draft with the most NFL ‘transferable’ skill set…McCarron…NOT Johnny, NOT Teddy, NOT Carr, NOT Bortles, NOT Murray. Flourishing as a college football qb is different than being successful in the NFL. Manziel is no RGII and Bortles is no Andrew Luck. But McCarron is Tom Brady…oh yaa!

  • severeraiderz

Lol u just keep the hits coming ur a funny little guy

  • jumpnjiminy

    watkins

  • jumpnjiminy

    Carson Palmering actually…

  • RaidO

    Sorry, Schaub owns that term.

“Texans’ Matt Schaub sets record for consecutive games with a pick-six”

  • 909RaiderLifer

Vic Tafur @VicTafur 10m Dennis Allen compared Matt Schaub’s struggles last year to Kurt Warner’s bad stint with N.Y. Giants before he led Cardinals to Super Bowl.

DA needs to be urine tested…He’s high on something…

  • Rick Worth

Reg. Gm of the year you heard it here first thanks!!

  • Raideralex99

    How much is Schaub getting?
I heard as much as 11 million anybody know the true numbers?

  • jumpnjiminy

    Ick.

  • Elliot

Allen comparing schaub 2013 debacle to Kurt Warners giant year and then rebounding. Glass is more than half full…I hope it’s true.

  • RaidO

    Fire DA!

Wow… Really? Now wonder the Raiders went 4-12, 4-12..

  • Rick Worth

    Fire you

  • Raiders24

Al Davis tipped that one at the line of scrimmage

  • kenchun24

Hmm? Well first Reggie needs to get past the 4 win barrier. Then Hayden and Watson need to get pass the 16 game barrier – and play well too.

  • 909RaiderLifer

$10M in salary…Incentive bonuses could be up to another $1M…Could change IF, Reg gets him to re-structure…

  • BigBenRexor

If Dennis Allen is good at anything, it’s making excuses.

  • kenchun24

    lol

  • jumpnjiminy

Hey Coach Allen….listen UP! All Schaub needs is hypnotherapy and he’ll be back to his old self. C’mon, someone get out a pocket watch and start swinging it in front of him repeating…”cluck like a chicken”…no I mean “don’t throw to that dude on defense but to the guy in Silver and Black….”

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

$10.9 I think but we don’t seem to know yet whether it’s two picks or one.

  • Return

No. That’s the ability to throw an interception at a time and place (usually forth quarter 20 points down), that has little consequence because you have already crushed all hope of victory for your team.

  • RaidO

This confirms,,, They will pull the same crap they did with Flynn. It does not matter how bad Schaub is in camp…He will be named the starter,,

    Deja vu

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

I think he has a 930K roster bonus, but salary is not guaranteed unless he is on week 1 roster.

  • kenchun24

Minus the whole “Warner already won one and went to 2 Super Bowls before he had a career rebirth via the Giants start and Cards finish” – part. Yeah I agree Dennis (lol)

  • RaidO

    DA is clueless….

  • Chino

Kinda bummed that schaub is the unquestioned starter. At least let mcgloin compete.
As for the #5 pick, Watkins?

  • Rick Worth

Negative you guys geez! I’m glad I don’t hang around with you dudes I would end that soon!!

  • 909RaiderLifer

Steve Corkran @CorkOnTheNFL 18m Coach Dennis Allen said he can see Matt Schaub being the #Raiders starting quarterback for more than one or two years.
    ““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““`
Or, only six games..Depending on who we draft at QB..

  • Raiders24

I would say Romo’s mistakes are more costly, having come during games with playoff implications.

  • Rick Worth

Then go cheer for the chargers

  • JV.

@LeviDamien: RT @AHCaliLivin: @LeviDamien any truth to reports naming raiders offer Jared Allen a contract? — None I’ve seen. Fake “report”

    Response ..

@DConnollyNFL: People calling my report on Jared Allen false, that right there shows that his saga is FAR from over and #Raiders among others still in it

@DConnollyNFL: If and when Jared Allen signs, Jay Glazer will have it first on where he’s heading I can only confirm team interest #NFLFreeAgency

    Evidence

@JayGlazer: Just got a disgruntled call from Jared Allen ragging on me bc I can’t train him w double pneumonia. Says I gotta rub some butter on it & go

@JayGlazer: Two more teams I was a bit surprised about jumped into fray so he’s taking a little more time

    Hope this nobody is right.

  • Goldie7

Matt Schaub/Trent Edwards are nearly equal. Therefore, why would Reggie choose Matt Schaub over drafting Manziel? We have had too many Matt(s). I hope this deal works out incredibly, or either I hope McGloin wins the starting QB job.

  • RaiderCDE

I’ve gotta give ‘Pix Six’ Schaub the benefit of the doubt his career TD/Int ratio is actually excellent (130/84). Has a 64% career pct which is also excellent. He has been a top 10 QB (some years top 5) most of the years he as started – *def* not last year – but in 2012 he was a probowler. So there’s something legitimately there to be hopeful about if we can get the 2007-2012 version and not the 2013 version.

Streater, Moore, Holmes, Jones, Reece, Rivera – even McFadden in the screen game. We don’t have that one big name WR, but alot of very solid options and we’ll add another in the draft and Butler might have something too.

  • kenchun24

I disagree with the “pro style offense vs. college offense” debate anymore.

So much more NFL offensive coordinator’s run spread offenses that feature WR/RB screen passes galore and non-stop shotgun formations 90% of the time. Not to mention the read option every now and then if you are a team like San Fran, Seattle, Carolina and the Raiders when Pryor was in.

  • BigBenRexor

Matt Schaub is Marc Bulger, overrated back ups.

  • 909RaiderLifer

We haven’t had a winning season in ELEVEN freaking years..Hard to be optimistic these days…

Yet, come September, I’ll be buying my pallet of Kool-Aid at Costco, like I do every year…

  • ENGLANDRAIDER

    That is just so sad.
Jimmy Carter was like Superman compared to Obama.
As Jesse Jackson once said of Obama: “he needs to grow a pair”.

  • rifflicks

    Boo Hoo Hooo……cry baby

  • Goldie7

And Please don’t let Reggie draft a WR with our first pick. Reggie desperately needs to sign Desean Jackson!

  • kenchun24

D-Jack will be a Jet soon IMO.

  • http://ggeden.blogspot.com/ GG

    Panthers reject Pryor trade proposal…

    —–

Panthers signed QB/WR Joe Webb, formerly of the Vikings.

Per NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are signing Webb as a quarterback. Webb converted to receiver full-time last season and hasn’t attempted a pass since 2012, but will get an extended look replacing an injured Cam Newton (ankle) during OTAs. Carolina has just Derek Anderson and Matt Blanchard behind Newton.

  • Goldie7

Darn! Thanks Man, good looking out!

  • RaidO

LOL,, Trade? Stop making things up..

  • kenchun24

Not guaranteed (or official) but scuttlebutt is he and Vick are close and the Jets wanna make a splash for their offense – even with Decker/Geno/Vick at the moment.

  • RaiderCDE

Maybe. But best stats for a QB we’ve had in years, including Palmer. We’ll see.

  • TrojansAndRaiders

    Where’s The Mention Of Pryor?

  • Goldie7

He’s good as gone to the Jets. lol
