Raiders add another quality receiver to roster

The Raiders claimed off waivers veteran wide receiver Greg Little on Monday, the team announced.
Little, who turns 25 on May 30th, spent his first three NFL seasons with the Cleveland Browns. He was cut by the Browns last week.
Little, 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, established himself as a reliable receiver for the Browns from the outset. He caught 61 passes for 709 yards and two touchdowns his rookie season in 2011.
Overall, he caught 155 passes for 1,821 yards and eight touchdowns in his three seasons as the No. 2 receiver, mostly behind Josh Gordon. He started 41 of 48 games during that time.
The Raiders are without a proven No. 1 receiver. Little and free-agent signee James Jones have been added to a receiving corps that features returners Rod Streater, Denarius Moore, Andre Holmes, Brice Butler, Juron Criner and Greg Jenkins.
It’s conceivable that Little will push for a starting spot right away and certainly make the 53-man roster.
The Raiders also signed linebacker Bojay Filimoeatu and cornerback Jansen Watson. Both players participated in the Raiders rookie mini camp over Friday through Sunday on a tryout basis.
Filimoeatu started all 26 games during his two-year career at Utah State. He spent last year recovering from a knee injury. Watson played in 44 games during his four-year career at Iowa State
The Raiders waived cornerback Johnny Adams, linebacker Frank Beltre and wide receiver D.J. Coles to make room on their 90-man roster.
