Quarterback Derek Carr, the Raiders’ second-round draft pick out of Fresno State, signed a contract Wednesday, the club announced.
Terms were not disclosed.
“I feel great,” Carr said in a statement.“I’m excited. I’m excited that this part of it is over and now we can just get to work and focus on winning games and getting better every day.”
Carr is the fifth of the Raiders’ selections to sign, joining linebacker Khalil Mack (first round), cornerback T.J. Currie (seventh round), defensive end Shelby Harris (seventh round) and safety Jonathan Dowling (seventh round).
