Raiders OTA today; Woodson and others speak with media

The media are permitted to attend today’s Raiders OTA (Organized Team Activity) in Alameda, which means there will be an opportunity to see the Raiders in a full-team setting for the second time this offseason.
Afterward, coach Dennis Allen will speak with the media from the field. Inside, the media get a chance to speak with safety Charles Woodson, linebacker Sio Moore and tight end David Ausberry.
So, sit tight and follow the action, as we bring you the latest on the Raiders from the team’s year-round headquarters. Follow me on Twitter at: @corkonthenfl

    Raiders = who??

  • Michael

Good. Every time I hear walking boot my first thought is Liz franc

  • 0ak R8rs

Pretty sure Hue said that about McBroken for the first few weeks as well.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Red Raiders! What do the Pacers play, by the way?

  • BigBenRexor

    It’s just a Groin injury.
    It’s just Scar tissue removal.
    It’s just major heart surgery.

  • JerryMcDonalds#1Fan

what’s next? LisFranc revisits Schaub and Carr gets an appendectomy??

  • marks hair

you guys are acting crazy.. the injury prone player we need to cut is named McFadden.

Hayden has another two years before we need to cut him.
but the point most people have been trying to make for a long while now, is that you don’t draft injury prone players early in the first place…

  • Return

You play the loser puppet parrot so well

  • R8erEduc8er

A freak accident does not equal injury prone.

  • 0ak R8rs

Well, they r getting smaller. Maybe he just jams his thumb in mini camp?

  • JerryMcDonalds#1Fan

How many Spurs fans will show up between now and Thursday night? my guess is 100+

  • Rico Stifler

    Groin Injuries are tricky.

Scar tissue removal is very common.

    Heart surgery is not just.

But you are a JUST a moron. So, what do you know?

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Never had a problem with his heart.

  • SilverandBlack666

IMO Hayden was a horrible draft pick. We needed an impact player. All this talk about how he has put on weight and is healthy and ready for 2014 is just BS he is broken and will always be broken. Like DMAC

  • 0ak R8rs

I think only one person said cut him. Can’t expect anyone to be happy tho.

  • R8erEduc8er

And DMC was Mr. Reliable in college. How’d he turn out?

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

I actually think that is the exact definition.
When you get injured, by non typical fashion, you are in essence, injury prone.

  • Rico Stifler

Injury-prone to me is frequently injured like McFadden. A freak injury followed up with scar tissue removal does not equate injury-prone.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

The careless roofer that drops a hammer on your head makes you injury prone?

  • JerryMcDonalds#1Fan

#20 is still in the league..anybody know if Felix Jones & Peyton Hillis can say the same??

  • Rico Stifler

You play the blog bltch very well…

  • R8erEduc8er

    Lol

  • marks hair

no he is injury prone.. the freak accident wouldn’t have heard any normal human being. most people would have to get run over by a car to sustain that injury.. and his other injuries seem to happen in practice.. super fragile

  • Michael

    Maybe we should sign them

  • SilverandBlack666

    I know right!

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    “lil’ blog bltch.

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

I think by being hurt having a hammer to the head is a typical injury.
Practicing football and nearly having your heart ripped from it’s valve system is not.

  • SilverandBlack666

Yeah why would you hang around careless roofers?

  • seymour bush

Hey trolls and clowns, there are new posts.

  • Rico Stifler

Thx for the correction. Now, let me ax you a question. Despite being the ‘lil’ blog bltch, is there a bigger bltch than return?

  • R8erEduc8er

Disagree. Injury prone to me is getting hurt often ala DMC.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    I’m a General Contractor.

  • marks hair

    he is often injured

  • SilverandBlack666

    A careless one?

  • Rico Stifler

I just see everyone making a bigger deal out of a sprained ankle than there needs to be which is none.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Not currently.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Comes with the territory.

  • Rico Stifler

I didn’t think so. He must be sucking down his patented loser juice….

  • R8erEduc8er

So the moment he was involved in that freak accident, he was injury proned….got it.

  • Return

You are so pitiful. Try this:
ABDOMINAL scar tissue removal secondary to OPEN HEART SURGERY, FOR A NFL FOOTBALL PLAYER is very common.

Use moron sparingly. Now loser. Hell you can shout that out all day.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

So what? We don’t want to talk to you.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Thank you, Jerry.

  • R8erEduc8er

He had a freak accident and rolled an ankle a cpl years later and therefore, he’s injury proned….got it.

  • Return

Well you certainly take honors it in the brown shirt department.

  • Return

Go to your lord Stanky and he will educate thoroughly on being a loser. He might also teach you to steal in the name of white man’s right.

  • https://twitter.com/MimiPeepeechimi Just Fire Baby

His beginning of his NFL career and end of collegiate career has massively more injuries then Darren had at that point.

  • R8drTahoe in SF

I think that the difference is if a player has a history of continually having nagging injuries throughout their football career (that is an injury prone player), whereas a player that has been injured once due to a freak accident during practice, crossing the street, wherever… but has no repeat history of sustained injuries (that is not an injury prone player).

that all said, Hayden is now becoming an injury prone player (injured last season, now injured this season).
