Raiders welcome back three players

Running back Kory Sheets, wide receiver Greg Jenkins and safety Larry Asante cleared waivers Wednesday, which means that they revert back to the Raiders injured-reserve list.
The Raiders waived all three under the injured designation. That meant that any team that claimed any of the three players within the 24-hour period for waived players was obligated to honor their salary and medical costs for the 2014 season.
The Raiders now are on the hook for everything. For now. They can either leave the players on injured reserve all season or release them once they recover from their injuries or reach a settlement.

We are in perfect agreement (well almost I’m on the fence about Shaub)

So what’s your beef with me . We agree.

  • HELLSBELLS

    No beef.

  • inonewordraider

    jamarcus>pryor

    1-5 vs 3-6

    Try counting

  • BigBenRexor

Comparing a Guard to WR isn’t Fair.

Trotting out all the personalities tonight

  • inonewordraider

99.2 vs 29.2, seems like one guy improved and the other can hire all the coaches in the world and he still can’t get better

  • ForHundred8

Underestimated mobility, Jamarcus is a 3rd string tackle.

  • Howard Benner

Actually he did. . .after he was schooled by Tom House (@ the behest of Greg Olson) he admitted he relatively didn’t know how to throw the ball. . .or how to properly drop back. . .three & five step drop backs were like watching DHB run the hitch & go; mechanical & painful. . .

Warning; the following is a very long article. . .

    But he works hard.

  • TrevJo

Q: What’s the difference between Terrelle Pryor and a bucket of poo?

    A: the bucket

  • Howard Benner

ACtually the Raiders failing to obtain a better safety net for ‘Soup than the aforementioned “I can throw it 80 yards from my knees” king was the beginning of Hue’s downfall. . .

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Silly observation.

  • Dan78

    The flies….

  • HELLSBELLS

    Eating contest

  • Return

Ok. Still doesn’t change the fact that as a Raider Pryor was the more productive and effective and winninest qb than McGloin. Those are facts.
You want to talk about what they are today.?
Mcgloin is certainly the better scrub. No doubt.
His numbers show he is probably the number one rated scrub.

  • rifflicks

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Tonight? So, you’re East Coast.

  • Howard Benner

Hue is not God; he threw the entire team under the bus in his presser following the (Dis)Chargers debacle. . .Hue is way too impetuous & he echos the definition of my nickname for him; Huebris (hubris for the misinformed). . .

  • inonewordraider

    fair enough

  • HELLSBELLS

If it was a jail sentence.

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Better than Palmer too. Let’s hear you take that illogical leap as well.

  • Howard Benner

    BSPN. . .

  • timetojam

    yeah, they’re good at that

  • Return

    I know!
    Hilarious isn’t it?
As chitty as Pryor was McGloin couldn’t even beat him out.
    Unbelievable.

Of course that’s what you were laughing at right?
I know you aren’t one of those stupid people who think
McGloin actually beat out Pryor for his starting position.
You are too smart for that.

  • inonewordraider

are they getting him a coach to teach him how to pass form within the pocket?

  • JLofty

Omigod. They should suspend him for being the stupidest 20yo at USC…

this is cming from a guy who made PLENTY of stupid decisions both before and after 20 yo but…..wow….

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

3-6? Is he using his toes?

  • Howard Benner

I was wondering what the official truth was. . .

Guess Joe Delaney wasn’t his hero after all; merely an aftherthought. . .

    Good thing I didn’t drown, coach. . .

Bet he wishes he did. . .now. . .

  • JLofty

McGloin still on roster, Pryor let go. I’d say that’s beating a guy out…

  • marks hair

and one guy was in his eighties while the other is in his prime

  • Howard Benner

The good news; we’re picking up your medical expenses; the bad news; don’t get too used to things around these parts. . .adios, amigos. . .

  • plunkhead

Kyle may have been a decent backup but he married Miss Prejean and was never the same.

  • Dan78

Said the same thing about passing…. Was just learning the mechanics….

  • plunkhead

No but I have seen RG and Cam “fall down” while trying to slide, just like Soup

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

Pryor saw how McGloin played and wanted out. See’s things that escape Return.

  • HELLSBELLS

Stevie Johnson will make a nice Raider.

  • TrevJo

Q: What’s the difference between Dennis Allen and a flying pig?

    A: The letter F

  • inonewordraider

if carr stinks it up hope for this year is officially lost, save us carr

  • JLofty

Special? I didn’t read that anywhere. Potential? Sure he’s young.
Little got cut from the Brownstains cuz he drops it too much. That’s a team that knew it’s best WR was going to be suspended.
Little hasn’t shown he has overcome that HUGE problem and I hope upon HOPE that he does. Cuz that’d be great. But early results DON’T show that he has…

  • HELLSBELLS

    Carr wreck, i hope not.

  • BigBenRexor

It really crumbled fast for him. I think it was a Feel good story on Monday, Tuesday it was reported as suspicious, and Wed officially debunked.

  • inonewordraider

james jones and him are the same guy, big numbers but lots of drops

Like a Screen play to DA, I’ve never heard of that one before.

  • JLofty

    Mmmmmm Carrie……

  • TrevJo

23.7 ppg is a better option than 18.4 ppg

  • marks hair

this year is already lost.. don’t make it worse by injuring our future QB.. Carr isn’t ready.
    Neither is this team.

  • TrevJo

“Pryor gave the Raiders what they needed @ the time”

He gave them a franchise quarterback, a pass rush, and a competent coaching staff? That’s news to me!

  • Purvisman/Eternal Optimist

    Okay, Lite. Well, bye.
