  • Morilla_00

East coast games are the worst

  • Raider teams seem to agree

  • Post to the Ghost

Didn’t have much of an opinion about this game and figured nothing one way or the other would surprise me until I considered this…….We’re 0-3 this season against the NFC North, a division with coaching staffs familiar with Musgrave and his tendencies. Any coincidence that the offense had fallen flat in those 3 games? Meanwhile, we’re 4-3 against AFC teams……our 3 losses were against CIN (#2 seed) in the season opener where we just weren’t ready to compete with anyone, and 2 very close games against DEN (#3 seed), and PIT (#5 seed) where we basically beat ourselves. Looking at it this way, I want to be confident that we get back on track today, but must also consider that back-to-back road trips to the east time zone is gonna be tough to overcome…….I’ll keep the faith and predict a 27-20 victory.

  • Dave

excellent, great day in dana point, dont go back to vegas til tuesday, didnt drink too much last night, so feeling fine this morning, sporting lucky “raider equipment” tee, all good brother

  • I suspect the NFC north is one of the best divisions in football this year

  • John Oless

Del Rio and Musky are conservative coaches, meaning we will be in a lot of close games which are decided in the 4th quarter. With the NFL passing rules, would still like to see Carr throw down field a little more often, even if it risks an INT every so often.

  • Dave

had a video interview right after the paris crisis, thought about wearing one of those jihadist things that just shows your eyes, too early?

  • jesusraiderjim

Probably. Ask the FBI when they show up to the Marina along with the Coast Guard. Lol

  • Post to the Ghost

Yeah, not impressed to this point with several of JDR’s “playing to not lose” decisions he’s made along the way.

  • R8der4evr

    Awesome
    Gonna get my church on
And yes I will be praying for the Raiders.

When the Oakland Raiders invade Nissan Stadium for a Week 12 showdown with the Tennessee Titans, most NFL predictions favor the Silver and Black to not only snap their three-game skid on theroad, but more importantly, get it done by more than a safety. That’s because most statistical trends indicate that Jack Del Rio’s club will go into enemy territory and come away victorious.

To make that determination, there are a series of mathematical figures worth mentioning. The first one is in the head-to-head category, where the favorite is 7-1 in the last eight meetings between the Raiders and Titans. For what it’s worth, more times than not, it has been a high scoring whenever the favorite has emerged victorious as they have superseded the point total in three of the last four times they have collided.

Reasons Why Raiders Will Win This Game

There’s no question that Oakland appears to be poised to get back in the win column in Week 12 despite being away from the Easy Bay. It’s almost unheard of that out of the four stats considered relevant in this matchup, three of them play into the Raiders favor.

First, there’s the Raiders 5-1 record in their last six games against fellow American Football Conference foes. Then, there’s Oakland’s 6-2 mark in its last eight games after scoring less than 15 points the week prior. And finally, the Raiders own a 15-7 record in their last 22 games played after losing a game they were supposed to win.

    ADVERTISING

As far as negatives go, there’s only one statistic Raiders fans should be worried about, as this team tends to play down to the level of itscompetition, coming in 2-6 versus a team with a losing record.

    Con-Titans Statistics In Week 12

Unlike the Raiders, Tennessee doesn’t have the luxury of mathematical figures supporting the notion that they’re equipped to conquer this opponent even at home. With their chances looking dim, the first piece of information to note is the Titans 19-39-4 record in their last 62 games overall, as well as their dismal 6-13 mark in their last 19 games after the offense has scored less than 15 points.

Adding insult to injury is the fact that the they haven’t performed well versus fellow AFC foes. Tennessee comes in with a disappointing 15-33-4 record in that department. Finally, it’s also worth taking into account that the Titans are 3-7 in its last 10 games following a close loss, along with a 2-6 mark in their last Week 12 games.

Raiders vs. Titans NFL Predictions: At the end of the day, all the statistics in the world cannot give NFL aficionados the security needed to pick a winning side with any certainty. However, when relevant data and knowledge meet, speculation decreases, as information, coupled with one’s expertise, makes all the difference in these types of situations. For this game in particular, predicting a winner is pretty straightforward: Oakland struggles, and the way these teams match up almost guarantee that the Silver and Black will win this game by an ample margin even in their opponent’s stadium. Tune in and watch the Raiders win this one going away.

  • Post to the Ghost

True?…..then the theory is blown. It may be just a coincidence. Or maybe just a fact that MIN is a damn good team and DET is playing hot at the wrong time for us.

  • Post to the Ghost

Hudson and Barnes, both?…….Damn, not good.

  • Myopinion

Wish they would play feliciano at g over Webb.

  • Dave

how many times has jdr won the toss and deferred this year?

  • SnBG

    New Post folks

  • Post to the Ghost

I think Webb has been doing well there. Seems Feliciano hasn’t even been considered at all since moving Webb to OG.

  • 0tt0

anytime somone stars throwing out stats from 10 years ago i immediatly igore the rest of it

  • Dave

that’s why he writes for bleacher report and not the nyt

  • Myopinion

Last ge I rewatcged Webb was awful. Got manhandled in the run ge. And never blocks anyone when he pulls.
I get our oline has been good against the pass.
    But what helps carr more?
If we can run buys Carr time.
    Won’t happen anyway though.

  • 0tt0

hope he didnt spend too much of his life on that analysis

  • Post to the Ghost

On the other side of the coin, I’ve watched footage of him doing very well in the run game getting into the second tier of the defense. Game by game, I guess.

  • Myopinion

He hadn’t stood out as bad to me all season. Didn’t pay attention.
Last week he kept catching my eye, so I watched close, the Dt would hit him and he’s be three yds back over and over.

  • 0tt0

cant give you that number but i can tell you the one time he did he blew the strategy by taking a knee with 30 sec to go go in the half and 3 TOs……that strategy is a big lift when you score before the half and come out in the 3rd and score again

  • I would simply chalk it up to saying winning on the road (DEt, Chi) is hard in the NFL, no matter who you are playing.
Hell, we were gawd awful last year and still went 3-5 at home.
