On vacation in DC, features editor Lisa Wrenn sends a quick text from the parade viewing route:
Just finagled seats to the viewing stands. Will take photos but will have to send later, phone running out of juice. Oh, I can hear the parade approaching. Group across from us is singing, “God Bless America.”
