Yes, ironic, that after Lawrence leaves West Sac that suddenly that district under a new Supt has a 28 point API gain. Lawrence has no record of turning around any district.

He was hired because he had done a solar project…
Not because he had…
Leadership skills,
Experience with a large District,
A track record of improving the quality of education,
Communication skills,
A history of building a sense of community to help begin to restore trust and confidence…

NO, he had done a solar project.

This one move by our school board shows the greatest lack of leadership and misdirection.

Of course Dr. J, the irony of all this is that Lawrence had virtually the same track record of no improvement of PI in West Sacramento for 3 1/2 straight years before the MDUSD board hired him.
