Lawrence fired Tobey Montez as principal with no promise of rehire. Because of public outcry when Asst. Supt. Rose Lock met with parents about a replacement, he was then promised a transition job, which is just a temporary assignment while a principal is on maternity leave. Lawrence is just shooting from the hip. How embarassing for Lawrence that Tobey’s school scores the highest gains. Lawrence has no clue about how to improve school’s performance — look at his record in West Sac and Roseville. The wrong person got fired.
