@TH #56 How can the “noticed resolution” be changed within three days prior to the Board Hearing under the Brown Act ? It doesn’t even make sense; in one section it says that not all students have the textbooks, and then it says “except as” stated above, all have textbooks. And these are the people teaching our children English ? No wonder the District has been on English Learner Program Improvement for six years.

Theresa, are all of the students using the new bus company actually Special Education students, or are some of them NCLB students? They too must be transported, by law, and I don’t believe the district receives any money for this mandated transportation.

I’d be interested to know if there is any personal relationship between any executive at Dent, and the administration at Pawar. Why would they change vendors, when there is no financial savings, and the bus situation is worse than it was last year?
