They didn’t do that for the QEIA waiver. Just the Mount Site Council.

So since they haven’t published the notice in the newspaper and its less than ten days prior to the “public hearing” how are they going to get around that ? Remember Sue Berg’s verification that Public Hearings require ten days notice.

I have learned that the district is required to share the waivers with a board advisory committee. But, instead of holding a special meeting of an advisory committee to review the waivers, it has sent copies of the draft waivers to the BAC asking for questions or feedback. I will post the waivers shortly. It’s unclear whether the district intends to include the responses from the BAC in the board agenda packet, but it should.

CVCHS waivers? Anyone seen the required newspaper publication TEN DAYS before the 22nd ? I’ve been watching — haven’t seen it. Still haven’t seen the “waivers” posted either ! Looks like Lawrence has blown it again ! I wonder if they would say they did, when they didn’t ? Nah, they are “trusted school officials”.

Clayton Squirrel, a correction then. It seems letters were sent to families of students who are currently actively enrolled in MDUSD schools and who are not graduating in June.

I have a current CVHS senior and a 14 year old 2011 Diablo View student who now attends a private high school. She is labeled as an “inactive student” on MDUSD’s Homelink. I did not get a letter from the district on how to enroll at CVCHS, so I wouldn’t say that letters were sent to all families in the attendance area.
