A robo-call 3 days before the deadline a “good job” ? Hardly, but it was by Felicia S-S so we are lucky it went out before Wednesday morning. 🙂

The biggest problem with Intradistrict transfers is that the student who is granted a transfer can in subsequent years be displaced by a student residing in the school residence. See BP 5116.1 “6. A student with an approved Intradistrict Transfer shall remain enrolled in a school unless the student is displaced by a student who resides in the school attendance area.” See also: “*PLEASE NOTE: Students on Intradistrict Transfers can be displaced prior to September 15 of each school year by students who reside in the school’s attendance area. (BP & AR 5116.1)”

I agree this is a problem. I have known of parents who have chosen to send their children to private school due to this uncertainty.
