And the band mentioned that about 25 times. Someone said that shot that Deke Dickerson rarely drinks (at least on stage I guess) but it was just too damn cold not to. I’ll definitely ask the new owners what was up. Even the bartenders were bundled up and it looked like it wasn’t the first time.

Yeah, despite the cold he did a great job rousing folks. As for the audience, you know what they say: it’s not the size that matters
The Uptown and Deke just needed to do a better job of getting the word out. I stumbled in there not knowing anything about the lineup, the bands, etc.

What a show from Deke. A true American legend. A very good show – sorry to see it half full on a Thursday night.
