A Spanish conversation group meets 7:30 p.m. every other Wednesday (next one Feb. 6) at Diesel Books on College Ave. You’ll be in good form for Cinco de Mayo.

I called Diesel bookstore and they said El Grupito no longer meets there. Does anybody know if this group exists and where they meet?

The Oakland public library hosts a Spanish conversation group at the Dimond branch from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on first and third Tuesdays. 3565 Fruitvale Ave. (across the street from Safeway). The tel# is 510-482-7844. They ask that people know the basics.
BTW, does anyone know of an Italian convo group?
