'Nearly all of them wear it too', True, that is a sweeping generalization and I don't know if the following is true either;
and they also ask women from Code Pink out and then threaten to kill them,
but I do know that there are two sides of the story and ppl on both sides are not willing to see the other side the complete opposite of their own belief and opinion.
The video the person above recommended is weak at best.

watch this:

Feb 12, 2008 was an interesting day in Berkeley and it will most definitely be interesting tomorrow. every one come out...voice your opinions, this is America, land of the free, they protect our rights to speak openly,damn it, so do it.

I wonder why the previous commenter is making stereotypes and making assumptions based on limited data. My guess is that the previous commenter has never actually met one of the Patriot Guard. Nice way to be a discriminating fascist, by making exaggerations such as these. So much for peace, love, and tolerance.

To set the record straight, I was in Berkeley back in March. Since there's some sort of obsession with race these days, I am an American of Chinese descent. Theoretically, according to your line of logic, I should have been deemed a number of racially-based slurs.

As it was, every single person I met that day was quite friendly. I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but I encountered no racism of any sort. Your assumption that everyone there was a white redneck is again wrong. I met people of all ethnicities who were participating in this event. The two most common insignia shown were the USMC's Globe and Anchor, and the United States Flag.

As for your claims that there were threats of violence made, those claims are fallacious. Everyone there conducted themselves with great dignity and composure. The previous commenter must be mistaking us for those of her ilk, who resort to profanity and violence, as shown in this youtube video.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WidXymvpxJE

In conclusion, I can safely say that the people I met in Berkeley back in March were some of the finest and most interesting people I've ever met. Perhaps, if the previous commenter could separate the person from their beliefs and actually civilly converse with one, they would agree. However, I have the feeling that the previous commenter will continue to make stereotypes and racist remarks such as these.

I wonder why you like to focus on these bikers and what they spend instead of who they really are. These bikers are racist that wear openly badges that say things like, "Vietcong Hunting Club". There is no mention of that in your article. Nearly all of them wear it too, and they also ask women from Code Pink out and then threaten to kill them. Only people as ignorant and disconnected as these support this war.
