Dear Delia -
Probably 6 months ago, I read about your proposed swim of the English Channel. I corresponded with your mom and bought a t-shirt. I tried to follow your progress in August. Mostly it was bad weather, and you weren't in yet. Then I guess I got sidetracked. Today, I pulled your t-shirt out of my drawer and looked you up. What an incredible day you had! If you felt disappointed at the time not to finish, I understand. But you should be so proud of yourself.

In 1985, I did a cross Tahoe swim with four other people! No waves, but freezing water. Still, I remember it as an amazing day.

Good luck. And by the way, I love the t-shirt.
