The Variety rumor is that Brad Pitt has been tapped to play Billy Beane, the baseball chief immortalized in the book ”Money Ball” about Beane’s way with the Oakland A’s. Must be humbling.

All I want to know if when exactly will Brad be in O Town? A lot of us gals would like to give him a warm welcome

Indeed. AS it turns out, he is unlikely to ever set foot in Oakland. Some scenes are being shot at the Coliseum but he’ll probably stay put in LA with Angie and the kids.
