Thursday NIght Live went out with a bang. In case you missed it, Julio Bravo had people dancing in Washington Street and I could hear his melodies from my roof. Last night just half a block away the Pacific Coast Brewing Co. had people out again drinking to the Old Oakland fixture’s 20th Anniversary and dancing to Third Eye Blind’s guitarist (or former guitarist) Kevin Cadogan. A half-dozen kids, adults and one very sauced up chick were rocking out in front of the outdoor stage and probably a good 100-150 people were crowded in the temporary beer garden set up in front of the pub. It was quite the lugubrious block party. In case you missed it, the brewery is hosting $2.50 beers all day today (Saturday) and live music from 6 p.m. to midnight.
