Oakland Police are asking the public’s help finding a man wanted in connection to a March 6 shooting in the 2600 block of Alvingroom Court. The man, Charles Edwards, 26, should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police. There is a no bail felony warrant for attempted murder, police said.
Officer Jeff Thomason said he is a suspect in the shooting of 19-year-old Deandre Moody, of Oakland. The two argued before the shooting. He was taken Sunday morning to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact Sergeant Gus Galindo at 238-3821. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
