Lofgren keeps CDCD chair

zoe-lofgren.jpgRep. Zoe Lofgren, D-San Jose, today was unanimously elected to keep chairing the 34-member California Democratic Congressional Delegation — a formidable voting block in the incoming, Democrat-controlled Congress — as she has since June 2003.

“I look forward to continuing my work with the large and dynamic California Democratic Congressional Delegation, and know that we will get things accomplished for the people of California,” she said in a news release. “The 110th Congress marks a new era for our delegation, and we will work to make sure California gets the representation and results our state deserves.”
