Can’t you just feel the love? Or perhaps it’s the possibility of an early primary next year?

Either way, two Democratic presidential candidates will be in the Bay Area this month, according to fund-raising invitations making their rounds.

On Feb. 19, presidential candidate and Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, will be a guest at a fund-raiser to Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., to honor her 30 years of service. The event will be held at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco at the affordable price of $150 a person.

On Feb. 23, presidential candidate and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-New York, will speak at a luncheon at the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. The price of admission is a mere $250. There will also be a reception with Clinton later in the day in Hillsborough for another $250.

UPDATE: Check out this LA Daily News story about how some Democratic activists are upset because presidential candidates charge for access in California while giving themselves away for free in other states.
