McNerney meets the masses

mcnerneyportrait.jpgRep. Jerry McNerney, D-Pleasanton, will welcome his constituents to open houses in his new Stockton and Pleasanton district offices this Saturday.

“Effectively serving residents of our district is my highest priority,” McNerney said in a news release. “Now that our two district offices are open for business I look forward to showing them off and meeting with members of our community… I invite anyone from our district interested in learning more about the services my staff and I can provide to stop by the open house closest to them.”

The Stockton office, at 2222 Grand Canal Blvd. #7, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; the Pleasanton office, at 5776 Stoneridge Mall Road #175, will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Drop by and ask McNerney how it felt to gavel the House of Representatives to order as Speaker pro tempore; he’ll be riding herd on the House from about 5 to 7:30 p.m. PST tomorrow. Watch C-SPAN to see how he does, and feel free to give him some tips.
