And what exactly does it Gen. Petraeus mean about being given "enough rope to finish the job"? What a disappointment McNerney has been! What kind of meaningless pablum is this? Tom Hayden has stated that the program being implemented in Iraq right now is nothing less than the pacification program that was used in Vietnam during that war. This means hundreds if not thousands of civilian deaths in areas where our army is being "successful". I wonder what McNerney describes as progress? And what exactly does it Gen.
