The East Bay campaign staff for presidential hopeful and U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., is holding a campaign kick-off event on Oct. 23 in Walnut Creek.

They’ll feed you Rocco’s Pizza before they hit you up for shifts as door-knockers and telephone bankers. (Expect to make a donation for the pizza.)

The event starts at 7 p.m. at Rocco’s, 2909 Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek.
