Oaktownpolitik, your entry smacks of ignorance and stupidity. McNerney toppled a
right wing Republican member last year and is doing a good job. He votes against
the Republicans on most issues, do some homework, but has to keep in mind that he
represents a marginal district and he was elected to represent ALL people…..not just
crackpots like yourself. Democrats have raised the minimum wage and our majority
is putting working families first.

Your narrow-minded, rigid approach to ideological “purity” is no different than the nutcases
on the far right. Go McNerney, Go Pelosi!!!!! GO DEMOCRATS!

McNerney is like a double agent. He throws a sop to the working class and people’s votes by every now and then giving a good vote and the rest of the time he votes against working people’s interest and with the Republicans. And Pelosi, who is even worse, has given him the “okay” to do this and other freshman democrats who don’t want to build the grassroots nor become populist candidates and claim they have to vote with the morally bankrupt Republicans. If the Sierra Club is satisfied with anti-working class positions and preserving the interests of the corporate farmers in his county (who rob California’s of their water and who back the damming and destruction of the rest of Califiornia’s rivers), over working people in the San Joaquin valley, then let them reap the whirlwind too. McNerney is nothing less than a puppet in the hands of the Democratic Leadership Council and the corporate bankrolled DCCC.
