There are many differences between the two candidates that are easily noticed. I spoke with Jerry McNerney (in person) about three Saturdays ago regarding 2nd Amendment issues and immigration concerns, during one of his Congress at Your Corner meetings. From what I gathered, Mr. McNerney is a nice guy, however he's also an open border advocate that supports birth-right-citizenship for babies born from illegal immigrants in the United States. He insists that there is no need to build a fence on our southern border to help hinder the flow of illegals coming into our country. He also supports Amnesty for illegals that have broken our laws. His 2nd Amendment stance was weak to say the least. He kept tring to make a connection between "hunting" and the "Right to Keep and Bear Arms" when, in fact, the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with hunting. He supports laws requiring Californians to lock-up their guns while in their own households as well. Anti-right politicians that support the needs of unlawful immigrants over the everyday American citizen... Never get my vote! What about you? Republican Dean Andal will get my vote come November.
