I am from New York. I’ve emailed Senator Clinton to ask about New York doing something like this – I, my large family, and several friends, are more than happy to volunteer our time to help with the addressing, and anything else that’s needed! When my young nieces (four of them, ages 8-12 years at the time) got that obnoxious form letter last year, indicating that their hand-made cards were not being distributed, they were heart-broken, and very disappointed, not only that their hard work was being tossed, but stunned also that their own country would disrespect its wounded soldiers in such a cold and callous way.

I hope Senator Clinton’s office contacts McNerney’s office. I may even send a copy of that email to New York’s other representatives, both state and federal :-) .
