Once you vote, that’s it

A handful of folks who voted by mail for a candidate who has dropped out of the race are showing up at Alameda County polling places and demanding to vote … again.
Uh, sorry, but you can’t do that.
Nonetheless, Alameda County spokesman Guy Ashley says pollworkers have let a few insistent voters fill out provisional ballots in order to avoid confrontations. Their second votes won’t count but it shuts them up.
Good grief.
