A reasonable estimate–but see some other ones in “Preliminary Congressional District Analysis Shows Clinton May End Up With Fewer California Delegates Than Some May Think” http://www.californiaprogressreport.com/2008/02/preliminary_con.html by some other experts. We won’t really know for days as your caveat states.
