Arnold Scwharzenegger came to Oakland’s mouth of the BART Transbay Tube today to announce about $394 million in Proposition 1B bond funding for 106 transit projects statewide; he said these projects will create 7,200 jobs and more than $256 million in wages and leverage total investment of $1.9 billion.
