Bravo Jon Stewart for some much needed mocking of the hypocrite liberals in Berkeley who think `free speech’ means `free speech for me but not thee’

The saddest thing of course, is Code Pink have so many reporters who are sympathetic and conduct REAL interviews with softball questions, they don’t know when they’re being set up.

Guess thats a good thing, since it makes for great comedy.

Too bad these folks are uber-serious about protecting Berkeley from anything they disagree with.

I am NOT a fan of Jon Stewart…far from it, I have all kinds of reservations of his him and his program. However, this piece is worth an Emmy!! It exposes the sad delusion that some progressives live in, in pockets of this nation like Berkeley and Cambridge, MA (for instance). It was ironic to see that last clip, with the Code Pink lady interrupting one of her own sisters from expressing her opinion. Whatever happened to “We’re against the war, but FOR the troops”. Have some of the good folks in Berkeley forgotten that credo?! As a foreigner in this country, I look at these people and realize that they are a spoiled bunch — that they have grown up in a society whose basic needs for life have been amply taken care of over the decades. If they really have some guts, they should be fighting and protesting on the streets of Beijing, Tehran and Pyongyang, instead of wanting to re-live their glory days of the 60s. They look so childish but do they even realize it? Have they forgotten civility? This is an excellent piece of journalism and kudos to Jon Stewart and his team for exposing the ludicrous nuttiness of some of the Berkeley folks. This is what makes America great — a bunch of nuts can yell and scream against their own soldiers and not have any action taken against them, whist a faux news program, loaded with satire, aptly captures this delicious irony. Whether you’re progressive or liberal or whatever, plz appreciate what you folks have in the country. It is truly blessed!
