I'm not here to condemn anyone over this issue. Anyone with a ounce of conviction would concurr. Heavy hearted conviction should fall on anyone opposing military recruitment. Troop levels need to be maintained to ensure a strong fighting force when conflicts occur. But, don't take this as a mandate, just as my pledge to the strong defense our country has always been known for.

I am very much for the troops (served in the Army from 1971-79), however I am very much against "Iraqnam" as I have termed it. George Bush's little invasion was and is a huge waste of lives and $$$. As anybody with a brain in their heads knows Iraq never attacked the United States and it never would have. Of course these men and women in the services today are all heroes as I was when I had the uniform on. Of course when I was in the service and in uniform I was on a couple occasions spit on by young women with babies in their arms. I was seen as a baby killer and monster. Of course both of these terms about me were untrue. I was and still am very proud of my service to my country. Times haved changed and that is very good. In closing the bottom line for me is I can support the troops, however I can disagree with the way they are being used by our government in country (Iraq).

When people get angry about Bush's campaign for sending troops into way, that creates war here at home. A diplomatic approach would be to study the matter and understand that this is just a political ploy to revolutionize certain economic factions.

As a retired soldier I was appalled, sickened and angered by what happened in Berkeley CA and just as much so at the vile atrocities that took and continue to be taken at other places in our homeland concerning our military. I am sickened as much, seeing what our President and Commander in Chief must endure daily from these and other kinds of "Liberal" factions.

I don't believe it at all unusual to see these types of traitorous activities eminating from a place like Berkeley. Harkening back to my Korean and RVN days, they were noted for their "great" support of our troops... nothing's changed. Their police force and city leaders are complicit through their actual encouragement of and failure to stop these nuts as well.

At my advanced years, aside from supporting our troops and entities that do the same, I can't do a hell of a lot. But, when the "demonstrations" occured, I notified the City Clerk of Berkeley that I owned a business and was reviewing a list of my suppliers; that if we found any based in their pathetic city, their account would be immediately terminated. Reasoning says that any organization who would locate in such a vast waste of good U.S. soil didn't deserve and would not benefit from my business. My understanding is that other companies did the same. Hope it had some impact.

Frankly, I invite, no, I encourage the Code Pink group and any others like them to attempt to demonstrate at my office, or make their way through my doors.

Liberals scream about 1st Amendment rights and then are the first people to want to silence anyone who has a different opinion. Their idea of protesting, on College campuses and other speaking venues, is to shout down or storm stages to in order deny others of their right to free speech. It is so sad that college kids today are being taught that acting like that is patriotic. They pride themselves in shutting down the opposite point of view and as the acts get louder and more disruptive, there are no consequences for their actions. The elected officials who are on the left and are in solidarity with these groups should be the ones calling for them to be civil, but they don't. The acts of the protesters are not prosecuted like they should. In college they are allowed to behave badly, not encouraged to debate their points and let others say what they believe. In NY they even get paid after threatening to sue the city because our court systems are also taken over by the left and sympathize with the activists. When people talk about the wrong direction the country is taking, it the leftist direction that we see happening in our courts, govt and city streets. If the anti-war (well meaning ones) would open their eyes, they would see that it is the Communist, Socialist and Anarchists that fund and participate in most of the anti-war protests.

There is no such thing as absolute freedom and peaceful protests should be tolerated, but the anti-american liberals that valdalize government recruiting offices should be prosecuted as common criminals. And freedom of speech against our military only has to be tolerated to a reasonable extent. Vile anti-military speech could be construed as hate speech, and hopefully some savvy lawyer will pick up on that and help some citizen or citizens bring suit against some of the anti-american liberals that pollute and poison our country. Yes I agree that there is no democracy without dissent, but too much dissent is called anarchy. Americans are programmed to place celeberties on a pedestal when the real heroes are the brave men and women in uniform, who deserve our sincere respect and support. Hell, half of those liberal celeberties in hollywood are uneducated, catatonic morons, who do not have a clue. Here's my advice, the next time you see a service man or woman out at a local restaurant, offer to pay for his/her meal or better yet take one to lunch and say thank you for your service.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Military supporters all over the country are now calling for a full-scale boycott of the new "Speed Racer" film, distributed by Warner Bros. Entertainment and starring Susan Sarandon.

Why the boycott?

Because Sarandon is now connected with extreme-leftist organization Code Pink and intends to protest with them outside the White House on May 13 and 14.

Sarandon's anti-war stance has been clear in the past but by connecting herself with Code Pink, she's now making it known that she has NO regard for our military soldiers. Code Pink wears the number of Iraq dead as a badge on their sleeves, yet they have never made any donations to organizations that serve to offer support to our military men and women. They did, however, give over $600,000 worth of aid and comfort to the people of Fallujah, Iraq, one of the most highly concentrated terrorist areas in that country.

If you care about our troops, if you support our men and women in uniform, don't put one dime in the pockets of those who support terrorism. Terrorist acts are taking place in the United States as well, by organizations vandalizing military recruitment centers, harassing citizens, and blocking entrance and exit to businesses.

"Speed Racer" is due for release on May 9, 2008. Do not see this film, in theaters or on video release. Show your support for our U.S. soldiers!

A copy of this press release has been sent to Scott Rowe and Jessica Zacholl from Warner Bros. Entertainment, CNN, The Associated Press, ABC, NBC, CBS, Glenn Beck, Mike Gallagher, TMZ.com, Move America Forward and Boycott Liberalism.com.

Berkley hasn't changed it is still out of touch with reality! The pressure must be kept on and the local as well as State officals who must be held to account for their misconduct and abuse of offical powers. On a personal note I wish I were at Berkley when the local police just watched the Pinko thugs attack pro american demonstrators! They could have watched my Barry Bonds routine. Sounds radical to say such a thing ? In the words of President Teddy Roosevelt , SPEAK SOFTLY BUT CARRY A BIG STICK!
