I’ll be watching candidates, first for hypocricy, then for honesty. I know personally, hypocricy is, above all else, political death. Honesty is great, but rare, and can be tempered with humor, acting, and double entendre. This is a great service of CCTV, as long as who pays, schedules, and benefits, is kept in mind. One might ask, why the Contra Costa Council (highly reputable) rather than League of Women Voters-DV (also highly reputably, but a more customary debate sponsor).
