Here again is mass histeria, looking at the numbers very few houses are getting in trouble. In Santa Clara county from Gilroy to Palo Alto there are at least 300,000 Single Family apts and houses. Last year 2007 less than 1500 houses were lost due to foreclosure, and in 2008 we are on a pace that no more than 6000 of these units will be lost back to the banks. at least 1/2 of these properties were owned by people that either had refinanced or owned more than one house. i realize some other areas are harded hit, but it is simply a wake up call to what happens when the door slams shut. only in the La La land of gov do people have unlimited money and the ability to keep paying more and more.
