Isn't it amazing how the local Democrats are attracting top level leaders to the Bay Area and Contra Costa in particular. Meanwhile Bay Area Republicans are nothing but brief a fund raising stop for the National GOP.

I am glad to see the leadership of the Contra Costa GOP is finally changing. Maybe with all the new candidates running for the central committee we can clean out the old guard. It is time for
Tom Del Baccaro to step up completely to the state party, the most dysfunctional organization in the country. It is OK to let go now Tom. Then you can complete Contra Costa’s Holy Trinity of conservatism Bill Baker, Lynne Leach, and Tom Del Baccaro.

The bottom line here Tom is you did a fine job rescuing the CCGOP years ago but the truth is you have become stale as a leader. Since you don't have a proclivity to run for elected office (Check sister Gayle U's sups jobs was up for reelection) then please move on completely and give new leaders a chance.

The NRCC is run by idots who lost their majority and are struggling with fund raising that is dismal at best. The American people have had enough of the phony Republican party who drink the bad water of the Potomac and are addicted to deficits, earmarks and expanding government.
Why Dean Andal continues to want to be part of that crowd is a real disapointment. Gerber has no chance at all of beating Taucher.
