I know this is a blog, but still the title “Wanna a limo ride to the polls” is just poor grammer. The title should be want, not wanna, or drop the “a” in the title as in “Wanna limo ride to the polls” As I understand internet speak to be, “wanna” is short for “want a”, so the way I read the title of the post right now it says “Want a a limo ride to the polls” I know I don’t have the best grammar but that is just ridiculous.

Normally my wife and I would walk to our polling place, but with Federal Glover picking up the tab for a limo (and of course the increased “carbon footprint”) we might take him up on his offer as we cast our votes for Gary Agopian!

I guess it beats getting a “chicken in every pot” (opps, I think my chickens out back heard me say that – scratch the “chiken in every pot” idea).

Karen,
Good for you for walking! However, the sad fact is that most people out here use their cars to go short distances. The mailer says a minimum of two for the ride. Since most people arrive at the polling place singly in their individual cars, this limo service is actually GOOD for the environment.
