Bill, To be clear, Move-On shut down its 527. it can still raise and spend money, but it is now limited to contribution from individuals and in small amounts. No more big donors and no more donations from organizations. John McCain Opposed Expanded GI Bill

Now that Obama has announced his campaign will forgo public campaign finance limits, will he still need to rely on the “soft money” spigot that groups like MoveOn and others use to attack opposition candidates via issue ads? Apparently he can use the unlimited hundreds of millions of “hard” dollars in his campaign to work swing states.

Or, paraphrasing Freud…sometimes a bake sale is just a bake sale?
