Schwarzenegger video of the week

This week, a double: two Japanese television ads launched June 20 by the California Travel and Tourism Commission, featuring his gubernatorial Arnoldness. The $5.1 million ad campaign — showcasing California’s tourism offerings and easygoing lifestyle — includes television spots, newspaper advertisements and billboards in the Tokyo and Osaka areas, and features the slogan “Nandemo Alifornia,” which means “California has it all.”

Funny… that doesn’t sound like Gov. Schwarzenegger’s voice. Think maybe he isn’t fluent in Japanese?

Japan is the second largest overseas travel market for California, behind the United Kingdom; the state welcomed 675,000 Japanese visitors last year, a 4.5 percent increase from 2006.
